Antoine Papiernik joined Sofinnova Partners in 1997 and is Chairman and Managing Partner, investing through the firm's flagship Capital Strategy in life sciences. He has been an initial investor and board member of numerous public and private companies including Actelion, Shockwave Medical, CoreValve and Recor Medical, and holds an MBA from the Wharton School; he has twice appeared on the Forbes Midas List.

Cedric Moreau is a Partner at Sofinnova Partners with 18 years of healthcare investment banking experience. He previously worked as an equity analyst and senior banker, advising on equity capital markets, M&A, and debt capital markets transactions that collectively raised approximately €2 billion for biotech and medtech companies, including several Nasdaq IPOs for European firms. David Evans is a physician-scientist who joined Sofinnova Partners as Partner, bringing over 20 years of experience in drug development and pharmaceutical investment. He previously served as Senior Investment Director at the Roche Venture Fund and held senior roles at Bristol Myers Squibb and Eli Lilly in research and data science. His background also includes clinical practice with Médecins Sans Frontières, policy work at the World Bank, and training in medicine and epidemiology.

Managing Partner at Sofinnova Partners since 2006 and part of the Sofinnova Capital Strategy team, focused on biotech company creation. He has led numerous exits (including Mablink, Corvidia, GlycoVaxyn, and Omthera) and drove the firm's expansion in Italy, founding the BiovelocITA accelerator and the Sofinnova Telethon Fund. He began his VC career at Sofinnova in 2001, worked at Index Ventures (2003-2006), and previously did academic oncology and cardiovascular research at NYU School of Medicine.

Guillaume Baxter is a Partner in Sofinnova's Industrial Biotech Strategy, focusing on industrial biotechnology and renewable chemistry; he joined in 2017 as a Senior Associate. He previously worked at Solvay in Brussels on sustainable energy and advanced materials, then at Solvay Ventures as Investment Manager. He holds master's degrees in Genetics-Immunology and Industrial Biotechnology plus qualifications in innovation management.

She joined in 2014 and has led life science investments including HAYA Therapeutics, Muna Therapeutics, NodThera, and Delinia (acquired by Celgene). Jacques joined Sofinnova Partners in 2017 as a Partner in the Crossover Strategy, bringing extensive experience in biopharmaceutical operations and both private and public investing. He co-founded and managed Ares Life Sciences in 2008, deploying €1.25 billion across six life sciences companies, and previously spent nearly 20 years at the Serono pharmaceutical group in senior roles including deputy CEO, CFO, and head of strategic corporate development.

Joško Bobanović is a Venture Partner in Sofinnova Partners' Industrial Biotech Strategy, which he joined in 2010, focusing on early-stage deals in Europe and North America across chemicals, agriculture, food, and materials. He previously worked on the investment team at iNovia Capital in Montreal, and before venture capital he founded an internet startup and a software company. He also mentors at the BIRD Incubator.

He joined Sofinnova in 2010 after working on the investment team at iNovia Capital in Montreal, and previously founded an internet startup and a software company.

Previously co-managed the Exane Equinox healthcare fund and spent a decade as a biotech investor/analyst, including at Citigroup Investment Research, and earlier worked in product and business development at Sanofi. He is a physician and scientist with degrees from the University of Florida, plus a CFA and an INSEAD MBA.

Lucia Faccio joined Sofinnova in 2018 and is a Partner in the Sofinnova Telethon Strategy, bringing over 20 years of experience in life sciences business development and technology transfer. She previously served as Director of R&D at Fondazione Telethon and Director of Technology Transfer at San Raffaele Hospital, and holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and a PhD in Biotechnology.

Lukas Guenther is a Venture Partner at Kurma Partners focused on life sciences venture capital. His investment experience spans medical technology, diagnostics, digital medicine, and therapeutics.

Maina Bhaman is a Partner in Sofinnova's Capital Strategy, who joined in 2018 with a background as a healthcare investor. She previously served as director of healthcare investment at Touchstone Innovations (formerly Imperial Innovations) in London and earlier worked in R&D at biotech companies including Celltech and Oxford GlycoSciences. She holds a BSc from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Imperial Business School.

Yao is a Partner in Sofinnova's Biovelocita Strategy, having joined in 2015 as an analyst focused on early-stage biotech and biopharmaceutical investments. He previously was a Human Frontier Science Program Cross-Disciplinary Fellow at the French National Institute of Agriculture Research and holds a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard and a Bachelor's from Peking University.
