Amit Shah is a Principal in SR One's London office, focusing on venture capital investments in biotech. Before joining SR One in early 2018, he held roles at GlaxoSmithKline spanning late-phase clinical development, global medical affairs, and early pipeline commercial strategy, and he is a board-certified-equivalent plastic surgeon specializing in microsurgical cancer reconstruction. He holds a B.A. in Medical Sciences, an M.A. in Neuroscience, and an M.D. from the University of Cambridge, and since 2020 has served on the venture capital panel for the BioInnovation Institute.

Jill Carroll is an Operating Partner at SR One, based on the US east coast, having first joined the firm in 2011. She holds a BS in Chemistry from Duke University and an MS in Biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University. Before SR One, she worked in strategy consulting and in biotech corporate development at Dynavax Technologies.

Katarina Pance is a Principal at SR One, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, having joined the firm in 2023. She previously co-founded EpiBiologics, where she served as head of discovery biology, building on her graduate research on bispecific antibodies for extracellular protein degradation. She earned a BA in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from UCSF, where she studied with Dr. Jim Wells, and was earlier a venture fellow at MPM Capital.

Laetitia Schwab is a Principal at SR One in the London office, joining in 2022. She previously worked in clinical development at Orchard Therapeutics, contributing to the delivery of the gene therapy Libmeldy for Marketing Authorisation, and has experience across early and late-phase clinical programs with expertise in gene therapy, neuroscience, and rare diseases. She holds a B.Sc in Medical Sciences from the University of Edinburgh, an MPhil in Translational Medicine and a Ph.D in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from INSEAD.

Heather Behanna is a Venture Partner at Forge Life Science Partners with a background in chemistry, equity research, and venture capital investing in the biotech sector.

Vikas Goyal is a Partner focused on Growth Investments at Longwood Fund. He previously worked as an investor at Pandion before joining the company's team in a business development capacity, where he worked on autoimmune disease therapeutics.

Amit Mehta is a Venture Partner at SR One, which he joined in 2024, and also serves as COO and CBO at Dren Bio, an SR One portfolio company. Chris Chai is an Operating Partner at SR One who advises portfolio companies on financing strategy and their engagement with Wall Street. He has more than 20 years of experience in biotech executive management and investment banking, having served as CFO at Principia Biopharma and MAP Pharmaceuticals and in treasury and investor relations at CV Therapeutics, and previously worked in investment banking at JP Morgan. He holds a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.

Jake Bauer is a Venture Partner at SR One who works with emerging clinical biotechnology companies. He previously served as Chief Business Officer of MyoKardia, which was acquired by Bristol Myers Squibb in 2020, and held earlier roles at Ablexis, Third Rock Ventures, Royalty Pharma, Endo Pharmaceuticals, and Putnam Associates. He holds a BS in Biology and BA in Economics from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jake Nunn is a Partner at SR One focused on later-stage private and public biotech investments, with over 25 years in the life sciences industry as an investor, board director, research analyst and investment banker. He previously spent 2006 to 2019 at New Enterprise Associates, where he established the firm's public healthcare investing practice, and earlier worked at MPM Capital, Franklin Templeton Investments and Alex. Brown & Sons. He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, and the CFA designation.

Matthew R. Patterson is a Venture Partner at SR One Capital Management with over 30 years in the research, development, and commercialization of therapeutics. He co-founded Audentes Therapeutics in 2012 and served as its CEO until its 2020 acquisition by Astellas Pharma, and previously worked at Genzyme, BioMarin Pharmaceutical, Amicus Therapeutics, and Iris Medicine, as well as serving as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at OrbiMed. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College.

Alicia Hasson joined SR One in 2024 and works in the San Francisco Bay Area office, providing executive administrative support to Rajeev Dadoo, Jill Carroll, and Jake Nunn. She has 15 years of administrative experience in the biotech industry across large and small pharmaceutical companies. She studied Business Administration at City College of San Francisco (CCSF).

Ann Ng is the Finance Director at SR One, based in the firm's London office, where she manages accounting, financial statements, and fund reporting while supporting the CFO on operations. She previously spent ten years at CITIC Capital Partners Limited in private equity fund management and operations. She holds a BA in Accounting & Finance from Curtin University of Technology and is a CPA (Australia).

Briana Wilson joined SR One in 2023 and provides administrative support to team members as well as assisting with event planning. She previously worked at Huntsman Gay Global Capital, where she handled administrative support, reception, and vendor relations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University.

Catalina Kazi is Legal and Compliance Counsel at SR One, which she joined in 2024. She previously worked for over five years as in-house counsel handling regulatory compliance at retail and institutional investment managers, and served as an attorney in the Securities Division of the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He previously served as VP Business Operations at Xap Therapeutics and Head of Clinical Development at Orchard Therapeutics, where he led cross-functional gene therapy development programs, and earlier held early clinical development and medical affairs roles at GSK. Mary Mirt joined SR One in 2025, where she provides administrative and office management support to team members. Philip Habib leads SR One's Capital Partnering effort and is based in London, with over 15 years of experience across venture capital, private equity, and real estate. He began his career in the Private Equity & Venture Capital group at Cambridge Associates advising institutional investors, and later worked at General Electric in Business Development (M&A) and Sponsor Leveraged Finance, covering sectors including healthcare. He holds an MBA from London Business School and an MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.

Sasha Keough serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at SR One, which she joined in 2022. She previously spent more than 12 years as an in-house attorney at New Enterprise Associates, where she worked on compliance, venture capital financings, and fund operations. She holds a B.A. in History from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Tanya McGlashan joined SR One in October 2020, where she oversees risk, financial, and operational functions. Previously she worked at an investment bank managing data analytics projects and business support, and earlier held roles in accounts, compliance, and operations at a private equity and HNWI family office. She holds a BA in English and Spanish from N. Novgorod Linguistic University, a Diploma in Professional Accounting (AAT), and ACCA certificates in management accounts, performance management, taxation, and corporate/business law.

Viraj Pillai is the Finance Director at SR One, based in the London office, where he oversees the fund's accounting, financial statements, and reporting, and works with external stakeholders and suppliers. He has over ten years of post-qualification experience, including five years with fund administrators and earlier work as an auditor at PwC (Sri Lanka/Botswana) and Deloitte UK. He holds a chartered accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and is an associate member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants.

Sharif Vakili is co-founder and CEO of UpDoc, a healthcare AI company developing Remote Patient Intervention models for supervised AI care delivery. He is a primary care physician on faculty at Stanford and teaches at the Graduate School of Business. Vakili has background experience in venture capital and clinical research.
