Investment thesis
Crucible Capital invests in early-stage founders at the intersection of hardware paradigms and software innovation. It sees a future where digital commodities such as energy, compute, and connectivity are traded onchain in permissionless, liquid markets. The firm focuses on protocols and developer tooling for open networks; orchestration and optimization software that automates workflows and manages resources; new commodities and capital-markets infrastructure that improves efficiency and liquidity; and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) that aggregate resources into new marketplaces. It aims to fund the most efficient use of thermodynamically constrained resources at civilization scale.
