Lars Timmer joined Gimv's Healthcare team in 2019. Before that, he spent over five years at goetzpartners as a project manager in the private equity consulting team, advising financial and strategic investors on commercial due diligences, strategy, and value creation projects with a focus on healthcare. He holds an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Cologne and a CEMS Master in International Management.

Maja Markovic joined Gimv's Sustainable Cities team in February 2019 and works as a Partner. She previously worked at Ambienta Capital and AEA Investors and has nearly 20 years of investment experience. She holds a BBA (Hons) from Lancaster University and an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

Philipp von Hammerstein is a Partner who joined Gimv's Health & Care team in 2016. Before Gimv, he worked at KPMG in the Deal Advisory M&A team, advising on more than 50 projects focused on healthcare and life-science transactions. He studied in Bonn, Berlin and Toulouse, holding a Diplomkaufmann from the Technical University of Berlin and a Master's in Management from ESC Toulouse/Toulouse Business School.

Ronald Bartel is a Partner in Gimv's Smart Industries platform, which he joined in 2015. He previously worked in the power transmission and materials handling industries, serving as Global Director at Columbus McKinnon Corporation, Sales Director at Flender, and in roles at Demag Cranes including a five-year assignment in Shanghai. He holds a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hannover and an Executive MBA from Rutgers.

Christoph Kocher joined Gimv in July 2019, following a six-month summer analyst role in the firm's Life Science team. He previously worked at GTX Medical (now ONWARD) and at a digital health consulting firm. Trained as a neuro-engineer specializing in neuroprosthetics, he holds an honours master's degree from the Technical University of Munich and has conducted neuroscience research at ETH Zurich and the University of Oxford, including work related to Parkinson's disease.

Lisa Collet joined Gimv's Smart Industries team in 2017 and serves on the board of portfolio company WDM Deutenberg Group and on the advisory boards of Laser 2000 and Smart Battery Solutions. She previously worked in Corporate M&A roles at Commerzbank and Munich Re, executing buy- and sell-side transactions across Europe. She holds an MSc in Business & Law and a BSc in General Management from EBS University of Business and Law in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.

Maximilian von den Hoff joined Gimv in December 2017 and worked in the Healthcare team until June 2024, holding board or observer seats at several portfolio companies. Prior to Gimv, he spent two years in the M&A division of Morgan Stanley in Frankfurt. He earned an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and a BSc in General Management from EBS University of Business and Law in Germany.

Niklas Windmann joined Gimv in January 2020 and represents the firm on the boards of several portfolio companies. Before Gimv, he worked in Deutsche Bank's investment banking department in Frankfurt on M&A and capital markets transactions, with additional experience at Temasek, Roland Berger and ODDO BHF. He holds a Master of Science in Management from WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management.
