Greg Madden has more than 20 years of healthcare investment experience at SV Health Investors, which he joined in 2002 as an Analyst before advancing to Portfolio Manager, Principal, and Partner in 2018. He focuses on medical device and healthcare services investments, working on the financing, strategy, operations, and acquisitions of portfolio companies. Before SV, he worked at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault in its Business Practice, Emerging Technology, and Private Equity groups. He holds a BA from Colby College and an MBA from Boston University.

Paul LaViolette joined SV Health Investors in 2009 as a Venture Partner, became a Partner in 2011, and was named Managing Partner & COO in 2014, where he heads the firm's medical device investments. Before SV, he spent 15 years at Boston Scientific in roles including Chief Operating Officer and Group President, Cardiovascular, and earlier held marketing and general management positions at CR Bard and Kendall (Medtronic). He holds a BA in Psychology from Fairfield University and an MBA from Boston College.

Brent Faduski is CFO, Chief Compliance Officer, and Partner at SV Health Investors, which he joined in 2008, overseeing the firm's finance and accounting functions. He previously served as Controller at CMGI @Ventures and as a Senior Associate in the Technology Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked with early-stage venture-backed companies and venture funds.

Kate Bingham co-leads the biotech franchise at SV Health Investors, focusing on drug discovery and development companies across the UK, EU, and US, and has led many of the firm's company-creation investments. She chaired the UK Vaccine Taskforce, for which she was awarded a DBE in 2021, and holds a first class degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also serves on the boards of the Francis Crick Institute and ARIA.

Michael Balmuth joined SV Health Investors in 2014, where he focuses on digital health and healthcare technology services, including provider and payer technology, telehealth, healthcare analytics, and pharmaceutical/clinical trial software. He previously held operating roles in healthcare technology and spent over 20 years in growth equity investing, including as a General Partner at Summit Partners and as head of healthcare IT investments at Edison Partners, along with earlier leadership roles at IBM. He holds an AB in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mike Ross joined SV Health Investors as a Venture Partner in 2001 and became Managing Partner in 2002, where he leads biotech investments and activities in the US and co-leads the firm's biotech franchise. Before SV, he spent 13 years at Genentech as its tenth employee, holding roles including Vice President of Development and Vice President of Medicinal and Biomolecular Chemistry, and was Founding CEO of Arris Pharmaceutical. He holds an AB from Dartmouth College, a PhD in Chemistry from Caltech, and completed an NIH Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Molecular Biology at Harvard.

Nikola Trbovic joined SV Health Investors in 2022 as a Managing Partner on the Biotech team. He was previously a Partner at Pfizer Ventures, where he invested in emerging companies developing new medicines, and earlier held roles in R&D technology investments, R&D strategy, and early clinical portfolio management at Pfizer. Before Pfizer, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Co. in the Pharmaceuticals Practice, and he holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from Columbia University and a Diplom in Biochemistry from Goethe University Frankfurt.

Tom Flynn invests in growing health care companies with a primary focus on health care services, including outpatient provider services and clinician-support outsourcing businesses. Before joining SV Health Investors, he was a partner at healthcare growth capital investor Ferrer Freeman & Co. and earlier held investing roles at GE Capital and Prudential Investment Corporation. He holds an AB in Economics from Holy Cross College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Christian Jung joined SV Health Managers in 2019 and co-leads SV Health Investors' Dementia Discovery Fund. Before SV, he worked at Wellington Partners Life Sciences and at High-Tech Gründerfonds, where he structured and completed seed- and early-stage investments in nine life sciences companies. He holds an MSc in Molecular Biotechnology and a PhD in Medical Science and Technology, both from the Technical University of Munich.

Jonathan Behr is a biotech investor and company builder with 20 years of experience in venture capital and therapeutics development. He has raised and co-led two venture fund strategies, led over 15 investments, served as investor representative on 14 boards, built 7 new companies, and achieved 7 exits. He currently serves as Fox Advisor and co-chair of the Targets to Therapies Initiative NOD2 at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

Miles Gerson joined SV Health Investors as a partner in 2026 and co-leads the firm's Dementia Discovery Fund (DDF). He previously headed Takeda Ventures, where he oversaw a portfolio of more than 60 private and public life sciences investments and led the corporate venture group's global investment strategy, and also served on an interim basis as Takeda's Head of GI Business Development. Earlier in his career he was in founding management of early-stage companies and led investment diligence for venture and private equity firms in the US and Europe. He holds a JD/MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Neuroscience & Behavioral Studies from Wesleyan University.

Charles Dunn joined SV Health Investors in 2018 as a Principal on the biotech team, where he helps form and fund companies developing new medicines across early creation to later-stage public and private opportunities. Before SV he qualified as an ACA after three years at Deloitte serving Life Sciences clients, and has an academic background in human genetics and molecular biology from UCL.

Dirk Landgraf joined SV Health Investors in 2020 and is a Principal on the Dementia Discovery Fund (DDF) team, where he helps form and fund companies developing new medicines for dementia and supports DDF portfolio companies with due diligence and strategic, business development, and operational needs. Before SV, he was an Associate Director in the External Innovation group at Biogen in Cambridge, MA, evaluating business development opportunities across neurological therapeutic areas, and earlier was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Susan Lindquist's lab at the Whitehead Institute at MIT. He holds a PhD from Harvard University's Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School and BSc and MSc degrees in Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich.

Hannah Maunder is a Senior Associate for Investor Relations on the Therapeutics team at SV Health Investors, which she joined in 2020. She previously led communications and supported the Institute Director at the UCL Institute of Health Informatics, and before that worked in the Development team at the Royal Society. She holds a first-class degree in Pathology and Immunology from the University of Bristol.

Alex Badamchi-Zadeh is a biotech investor at SV Health Investors, managing positions across the SV7 Impact Medicine Fund, Biotech Crossover Opportunities Fund, and SV8 Bio Fund, and serves as an investment committee member for Cancer Research Horizons. Previously, he held business development and strategy roles at Xilio Therapeutics, a NASDAQ-listed immuno-oncology company, and worked as a life science strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting. His background includes immunology research at Harvard Medical School, Imperial College London, and the University of Oxford, with publications in Nature, Science Immunology, and In Vivo.

Andrew Cappetta joined SV Health Investors in 2022 as an Associate on the Healthcare Growth Team and advanced to Senior Associate in 2024 and Vice President in 2025. Before SV, he worked on Thermo Fisher Scientific's Corporate Development team, focusing on M&A of healthcare and life science companies, where he executed two transactions totaling $550 million. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration: Finance from the University of New Hampshire.

Gene Hill joined SV Health Investors in 1999 and focuses on health care services and healthcare IT services investments. Before SV, he spent five years as a Partner at Accel Partners in Palo Alto, where he handled early-stage healthcare service and HCIT investments, and previously held senior management roles including President of Behavioral Health at United HealthCare Corporation, CEO and President of US Behavioral Health, and President and Chairman of Sierra Health and Life Insurance Company. He holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from Boston University.
