Johan Kampe is Managing Partner of Claret Capital Partners with over 25 years of experience in technology lending and financing. Before joining HMC in 2013, he co-founded Benefide, a specialty debt origination firm, and previously worked at ETV Capital originating European growth loans and at Silicon Valley Bank, where he helped establish its European subsidiary, SVB Europe Advisors. Earlier in his career he worked with financial institutions including Prudential and American Express, and he holds a BA in Finance and International Business from San Jose State University.

Daniel Mallon is a Principal at Claret Capital Partners, which he joined in May 2019. Before that, he worked in the Corporate Finance department of Grant Thornton from 2018 to 2019 and began his career at PwC Dublin, where he obtained the ACA qualification. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin (2013) and a Diploma in Corporate Finance from the ICAEW and CISI (2018).

Donna Hughes works in operations on the Rock Health Advisory Team. Before Rock Health, she worked as an Executive Assistant at J.P. Morgan & Co and as an Event Coordinator at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Originally from New Jersey, she is now based in Georgia.

Joey Mason joined Claret Capital Partners in September 2024 as a Venture Partner focused on Life Sciences, where he works on expanding the firm's Life Sciences network, sourcing deals, and advising the team. He has more than 30 years of experience across medtech, pharma/biotech, diagnostics, health IT and techbio, and has held roles as an investor, entrepreneur, financier, director, mentor and advisor. He co-founded Duplex Capital Partners in 2021, previously led a Life Sciences fund at Merck KGaA's corporate venture arm M Ventures in Amsterdam, and spent 10 years at Delta Partners.

Agustin Iturregui joined Claret Capital Partners in February 2023 as Office Manager and Executive Assistant to Managing Partner Johan Kampe. He previously worked in the Argentinean banking industry as a budget controller and management operational analyst, and coordinated congresses and events, including serving as office manager at the Latin American Society of Transplantation. He holds a Business Administration degree from the University of Buenos Aires.

Alessio Boggio-Chaibi joined Claret Capital Partners in July 2025 as a Graduate Investment Analyst, supporting deal origination, due diligence, and execution for growth-stage businesses. Before Claret, he worked at a boutique advisory firm in Washington, D.C., assisting with capital raises for emerging market companies. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in International Management with Finance from Warwick Business School and an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Imperial College London.

Alvaro Arenzana Du Boys joined Claret Capital Partners in September 2025 as a Graduate Investment Analyst, supporting deal origination and due diligence for growth-stage businesses. He previously worked as a Junior Analyst in TMT M&A at Arma Partners focused on software and data transactions, and gained earlier experience in M&A at KPMG and in cybersecurity at Trend Micro. He holds a BEng from Imperial College London and an MSc in Management with Finance from IESE Business School.

Antony Baker joined Claret Capital Partners in June 2017, where he works across the full deal cycle, focusing on sourcing, evaluating and executing investments in high-growth companies in the technology and life sciences sectors. Before joining the firm, he worked at PwC in its Valuations business and previously in its Insurance & Investment Management practice. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Manchester.

Chantal Toft joined Claret Capital Partners in April 2024, where she works on originating and executing venture debt investments in the life sciences sector, including evaluating opportunities and structuring financing. She previously worked in Ernst & Young's Turnaround and Restructuring team, advising on distressed M&A and debt restructuring. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a degree in History from King's College London.

Clément Hardy joined Claret Capital Partners in November 2025, focusing on sourcing new investment opportunities with an emphasis on France. He previously worked as an early-stage tech investor at Financière Saint James, a French family office, and was part of the founding team of GVA, a fund of funds investing in U.S. venture capital firms. He holds a Master of Science in Management from ESSEC Business School.

Emma Jones joined Claret Capital Partners in April 2024, where she works on deal origination, due diligence, and execution. She previously worked at KPMG as an Assistant Manager in Transaction Services, focusing on financial due diligence of financial institutions, after starting her career in KPMG's Deal Execution team. She is a qualified chartered accountant (ACA) and holds a degree in Economics from Durham University.

George Morgan joined Claret in November 2022, where he supports deal origination and company analysis. He previously worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at Arden Partners on IPOs, fundraises, and M&A transactions, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) at PwC in the Private Business Audit and Assurance department. He holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.

Jared Magnus joined Claret Capital Partners in October 2021 and works as an Investment Associate focusing on deal origination, analysis, and execution, having previously worked on the firm's portfolio management team. Before Claret, he was a Financial Analyst at an early-stage edtech startup in London. He earned his CFA Charter in 2023 and holds a degree in Investment Management from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

Kate Allen joined Claret Capital Partners in October 2024 to lead its marketing activity. She has over 12 years of marketing experience in the investment sector, having previously worked at ECI Partners, Silverfleet, Smedvig Capital, and Rothschild. She holds a BA Hons in Spanish and French from Bristol University.

Kieran Moran holds a BSc in Finance from Queen's University Belfast and joined Claret in March 2022. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas in private equity and hedge fund accounting teams, and most recently served as a Private Equity Fund Accounting Supervisor at SEI Investments. He is part-qualified with ongoing ACCA studies.

Mara Maerean joined Claret Capital Partners in February 2026, where she works on deal origination, due diligence, and execution. She previously worked at PwC in Corporate Finance M&A on business services deals and was seconded to the Financial Sponsors Coverage team, originating deals across the technology, consumer, financial, and business services sectors. She is a chartered accountant (ACA) and holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick.

Max Haigh joined Claret Capital Partners in August 2022 as a Senior Analyst, where he supports deal origination and execution for growth-stage businesses across Europe. He earned a first-class honours degree in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Leeds and has passed the CFA Level 2 exam.

Nathaniel "Nog" Norgren is Chief Legal Counsel at Claret Capital Partners, which he joined in June 2025. He began as a finance lawyer at Freshfields, then worked in-house at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers until 2004, followed by a role as General Counsel at ETV Capital. He later founded and ran Norgren Legal from 2011, serving clients in growth finance and technology lending. He holds a BA in Archaeology from Southampton University.

Niamh McNeill joined Claret Capital Partners as a Finance Assistant in September 2024, supporting the finance function across corporate and funds. She previously worked as a Trainee Accountant at MT Finance, focusing on investor reporting. She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of York and is pursuing the CIMA management accountant qualification.

Paul Bramley is a Director and Consultant at Claret Capital Partners, having joined in 2020 as CFO & Operating Partner following the firm's management buyout from Harbert Management Corporation. He has more than 35 years of experience in financial markets, including 15 years as a CFO/COO in the alternative investment sector focused on building operational infrastructure for growth businesses. He holds an MA from the University of Oxford and is a qualified chartered accountant and corporate treasurer.

Philip Treacy joined Claret Capital Partners in June 2022, where he sources new investment opportunities and conducts fundamental research and company analysis. He has worked in the industry since 2015, previously serving as an Investment Analyst at Beach Point Capital Management on its venture debt strategy and as an M&A analyst at Uniphar Plc. He holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin and an MSc in Quantitative Finance from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.

Raj Shah is CFO and Operating Partner at Claret Capital Partners, with over 20 years in private capital and financial services. He spent 13 years at 17Capital in senior finance roles and later as CFO, helping grow the firm's assets under management from around $200m to nearly $20bn, and previously worked four years at Bowmark Capital. His expertise covers fund finance and structuring, financial management, operational scaling, and governance. He holds an MSc from Queen Mary University of London and a BEng from Brunel University, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Management Accountants.

Rebecca Brooke joined Claret Capital Partners in March 2023 as HR & Office Manager, where she supports the CFO and wider team on day-to-day operations, staff wellbeing, and office management. She has more than seven years of experience in administrative support roles, most recently leading Operations and HR at a design practice in central London. She holds a BA Hons in Illustration from Westminster University (2015).

Richard Hardie joined Claret Capital Partners in October 2023, where he oversees finance and compliance reporting. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA SA) who qualified at Deloitte South Africa and later worked as an Audit Manager at Deloitte Guernsey. Before Claret, he led finance functions for a Guernsey-based investment manager and stockbroker, a London-based tech company, and an LME commodities broker.

Ryan Doye joined Claret Capital Partners in November 2021 as Head of Fund Operations, where he manages the financial, operational, and reporting functions of the firm's funds. He began his career in audit at Buzzacott, qualifying as an ACA, and later moved to fund administration at Langham Hall, becoming a Senior Manager handling private fund clients across venture capital and debt strategies. He holds a Master's in Finance and Investment from the University of Exeter.

William (Billy) Mattar joined Claret Capital Partners as a Portfolio Analyst in November 2024, focusing on optimising and reporting on portfolio performance. He previously worked in Forvis Mazars' Audit and Assurance – Industry & Services department, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA). He holds an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.

Anil Hansjee combines engineering, banking and Google's EMEA corporate development experience to focus on regulation-forward European digital money—notably stablecoins and programmable payments—and champions investor technical literacy.

Ryan Walsh is the Community and Operations Manager at BankTech Ventures, where he manages operations across the fund's network of community banks, portfolio companies, and partners, including the Annual Summit, events, systems, and communications. He also built an AI-powered internal platform for the team. Prior to BankTech Ventures, he led people operations and talent acquisition at an education technology company, including a leadership role in China.
