Investment thesis
ISIF operates under a 'double bottom line' mandate, investing commercially in ways that support economic activity and employment in Ireland. Its Discretionary Portfolio targets transformational investments across defined impact themes: Climate, Housing and Enabling Investments, Scaling Indigenous Businesses, and Food and Agriculture, while retaining flexibility for National and Compelling investments in response to macro events. As a strategic investor with strong public- and private-sector connections, it positions itself to unlock opportunities that might otherwise go unrealised. Its portfolio is diversified across regions and sectors of the Irish economy. The Fund also holds a Directed Portfolio managed under direction from the Minister for Finance.
