XGEN Venture specializes in early-stage investments in private research and development companies within the life sciences sector, aiming to build next-generation life science ventures. Established by the former Genextra team, the firm draws on over 15 years of experience in the startup process and in the discovery and development of novel solutions for high unmet medical needs. It is currently deploying capital from its first fund, XGEN Venture Life Science Fund, launched at the end of 2022, while continuing to advise Genextra's board of directors on managing its existing portfolio.
