She previously spent four years at Index Ventures starting in 2012 and holds an MBA in International Travel Management.

Philip Brown is Finance Manager in Medicxi's operations team, previously a client accountant at Intertrust Fund Services and Stonehenge Fleming Corporate Services with over a decade in Channel Islands financial services. He holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northumbria and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Venture Advisor and co-founding team member at Medicxi who has supported the development of several Index Ventures and Medicxi portfolio companies. He is Chairman, CEO and Chief Scientific Officer of Minerva Neurosciences and was previously President and CEO of the Forenap Group; he holds PhDs in Neurosciences and Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Strasbourg.

Sylvia Elder is Deputy General Counsel at Medicxi, advising on seed, venture and growth-stage investment transactions, compliance and corporate matters. She previously trained and worked as a corporate associate at Nabarro LLP (now CMS), handling M&A, IPOs and investment deals in tech and biotech, including a secondment at GlaxoSmithKline.
