Aditya Puri is an Investment Partner at Xeraya Capital and was part of the founding team behind the firm's 2012 carve-out from Khazanah Nasional. He previously served as a director in Khazanah Nasional's Life Sciences group and earlier worked in the Greater Boston area with healthcare and cleantech startups tied to Harvard and MIT, held a leadership role at Yankee Group, and worked in corporate development at Boston Scientific. He holds a B.S. from the University of Southern Maine and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and has passed the U.S. Uniform CPA Examination.

Jason Rushton has over two decades of life sciences experience spanning drug development, drug discovery, management consulting, venture capital, strategy consulting, and corporate finance advisory, with strong networks in Europe. Before joining Xeraya Capital, he spent five years at Deloitte in Geneva as Director of Corporate Finance Advisory, leading its healthcare and life sciences M&A business, and previously worked in venture capital at the Merlin Biosciences Fund and the Inventages (Nestlé) Fund, as well as at PA Consulting, Medeva Group, Cortecs Ltd, and Eli Lilly. He holds an MSc in Immunology and a BSc (Hons) in Anatomy from the University of Birmingham, UK.

Joined as SVP with more than 15 years of experience in the life sciences ecosystem across research, academia, management and policy making.

Wei Ling is Senior Vice President of Investments at Xeraya Capital, where she focuses on medical devices and biotechnology across multiple disease areas. Her career spans private equity and venture capital, including direct investments, portfolio management with board representation, fund management, and fundraising. She previously worked at Aureos Capital, CDC Group plc and Actis Capital, and began her career at KPMG in assurance and business advisory.

Noorhayati M. Nasir joined Xeraya Capital in August 2016, having previously served as Vice President of Business Development and Investment – Healthcare at the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation (BiotechCorp). She has around a decade of experience in life sciences and healthcare investment, including assessing grant and incentive applications, supporting investor due diligence, and promoting industry-academia partnerships. She holds a BSc in Biotechnology from University Malaya and an MBA in International Business from University Putra Malaysia.

Shafini Abd Hapiz joined Xeraya Capital in 2012 with experience spanning biotechnology, intellectual property, and business management. She previously worked as a business development executive at Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation and as an analyst for Deutsche Bank in Singapore and London, and earlier trained as a patent executive at Patrick Mirandah & Co in Kuala Lumpur. She holds a first-class honours BSc in Biotechnology from the University of New South Wales and an MSc (Distinction) in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Business Management from the University of Warwick.

Bruce Cohen joined Xeraya Capital in January 2016, bringing over 30 years of management, marketing, and business development experience in life sciences and high technology in the United States. He was the founding President and CEO of three early-stage biotech companies — Acacia Biosciences, Cellerant Therapeutics, and VitaPath Genetics — and previously served as CFO at GeneSoft and held roles at SEQUUS Pharmaceuticals and Baxter International. He holds a BA and MA from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dato' Hans Peter Brenner has more than 28 years of management, marketing, and business development experience in the medical device industry, with strong networks across the Asia-Pacific region. He currently manages a Penang-based firm handling sales and marketing projects for medical devices in the Asia-Pacific, serves as a director of several Malaysian OEM and private-label medical device manufacturers, and is a venture partner at a Singapore-based private equity firm. Previously he was President of B. Braun and Aesculap Asia, overseeing manufacturing, sales, and marketing across Asia; he began his career at PwC Germany in 1987 and holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim.

Joined Xeraya as an Advisor in February 2015, bringing extensive chemical industry experience and strong business networks in the Asia Pacific region.

Norazli Mohamad Nor ("Azli") is a Venture Partner at Xeraya Capital and was a founding member of the firm, having handled preparatory work toward its establishment while at Khazanah Nasional. At Khazanah he worked in the Life Sciences Unit managing pipeline deals and portfolio monitoring, and was involved in creating the Mudharabah Innovation Fund and restructuring a national innovation agency. Earlier he led KPMG's infrastructure funding consulting practice and held technical and management roles at Tenaga Nasional; he is a Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from Imperial College London and an MBA in Finance from International Islamic University Malaysia.

Joined Xeraya in 2022 as Executive Secretary to the CEO and moved into Corporate Communication and Marketing in 2024.

Alan Cheah joined Xeraya Capital in 2012 as Head of Finance and became Chief Financial Officer in 2016, bringing over 20 years of experience in audit, transaction advisory, corporate finance, taxation, and risk management. He previously worked at Ernst & Young in Bermuda and New York serving asset management clients, at KPMG in Shanghai and Hong Kong, and as a business and risk controller for IKEA in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) from Northern University of Malaysia and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant in Malaysia.

Irene Chen joined Xeraya Capital in October 2013 and has over a decade of experience in transaction advisory, regulatory, and external audit work, including time in Bermuda. She was previously a senior manager at Baker Tilly, a senior analyst at the Bermuda Monetary Authority, and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bermuda and Ernst & Young in Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Monash University and is a Certified Practicing Accountant (Australia).

Norashikin Muhamad has served as Head of Legal and Company Secretary at Xeraya Capital since January 2013, where she oversees legal compliance, provides counsel to the company and its subsidiaries, and manages board and committee governance matters. She previously worked as General Manager for Corporate Services and Legal at Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd, as a legal advisor to property developer Prestico Sdn Bhd, and spent four years at Southern Bank Berhad as head of credit and documentation. She holds an LLB (Hons) from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK and is a Licensed Secretary.

Sik Han Ming previously worked in operational growth at My Care Concierge, where he helped the business obtain B Corp Certification and Malaysia Digital (MD) status through its digital strategy. At Pembangunan Ekuiti he contributed to a strategic equity investment in a biotech firm, and his earlier experience includes internships in e-commerce data management at Unilever International and marketing strategy at HSBC Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Business & Commerce in Banking & Finance and Applied Economics from Monash University Malaysia.

Syaron Tang joined Xeraya Capital as a Finance Analyst in January 2016 and became a Finance Associate in 2018. Before Xeraya, she worked as a senior accounts associate at Niche & Milestones International Sdn Bhd, serving as an outsourced accountant for SMEs across industries such as trading, advertising, engineering services, and F&B, and preparing management accounts with GST compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Business Accounting (Hons) from HELP University and is pursuing the ACCA qualification.

Wei Ling Goh is Senior Vice President, Investments at Xeraya Capital, a life science venture capital and private equity investor, where she focuses on medical devices, biotechnology, and bio-greentech/agri-tech. Her career includes private equity and venture capital roles at Aureos Capital, CDC Group plc, and Actis Capital, along with earlier work in KPMG's assurance and business advisory practice. She is an Australian CPA and a Malaysian Chartered Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from RMIT University.

Graduated from NYU's Stern School of Business with a finance degree in 2019 and previously interned in wealth management at UBS. Supports research, financial modeling, marketing and administration at Green Circle.

Joined Skyview in 2021 as a Senior Trader on the Environmental Attributes Team. Previously traded mortgage-backed securities at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, and was a partner at Karbone Inc. Holds a BA in Economics from Yale University.

Kevin Lewis is Chief Executive Officer at Xeraya Capital Sdn Bhd, with a background in the venture capital and private equity industry. His areas of experience include business planning, mergers and acquisitions, start-ups, and risk management. He holds a Bachelor of Economics in Actuarial Studies from Macquarie University.

Sarah Crabtree is Head of Legal (Transactions) at Syncona Investment Management Limited. She previously served as Group Corporate and Commercial Counsel at Vue International, a cinema operator in Europe and Taiwan, and earlier worked as a private equity lawyer in London advising private equity clients on management buy-outs, disposals and exits. She holds an LLB from the University of Nottingham.
