Frank Groenewegen is a Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of 415C, with nearly 40 years of experience in medical technology, including 30 years as an investor and entrepreneur. He has funded over 40 companies and founded and exited several European medical device distribution companies, including CoRRect Medical (acquired by Uniphar PLC in 2021), Regis Medical GmbH, Ovum Ventures GmbH, and Cardiologic GmbH (acquired by Boston Scientific in 2002). He previously served as General Manager of Boston Scientific's Interventional Cardiology Division Germany and held management roles at St. Jude Medical, W. L. Gore & Associates, and American Hospital Supply Corp.

Frederik Groenewegen is a co-founder and General Partner of 415C, focusing on medical technology investments. Before starting the firm, he was a Business Development Manager at Regis Medical, a Germany-based medical device distributor, and earlier worked in HSBC's Leveraged & Acquisition Finance group in New York and as an analyst in HSBC's London office covering M&A and IPOs. He holds an Hon. B.A. in Economics from the University of Toronto.

Ruben Osnabrugge, MD PhD, is Partner and Chief Medical Officer at 415 Capital, where he combines clinical expertise with investment work in cardiovascular and medtech technologies. He trained in cardiothoracic surgery and holds a PhD in cardiovascular medicine, and focuses on evaluating and translating novel interventional therapies and medical devices into clinical practice. His investment responsibilities include clinical due diligence, strategic evaluation, and ongoing portfolio engagement.

Michael Braun is a biomedical engineer and inventor who holds several medical device patents and serves as Senior Venture Partner at 415C, where he focuses on technical evaluation of prospective portfolio companies. He is CEO of Symedrix GmbH and was CEO of CoRRect Medical GmbH, which he co-founded in 2010 and which was acquired by Uniphar PLC in 2021. He previously co-founded Reverse Medical Corp. (acquired by Covidien in 2015), held roles at Medtronic, and began his career in R&D at Rüsch AG / Teleflex, where he invented the Polyflex stent. He holds a B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Aachen, Germany.

Rob Michiels is a Founding Partner at CONSILIUM Associates LLC and Senior Venture Partner at 415 Capital with extensive experience in medical device company management across corporate and startup settings. His background spans global development and commercialization of emerging technologies, with expertise in operations management, sales, marketing, business development, and regulatory matters. He currently serves on the boards of CardiAQ Valve Technologies, EDAP-TMS SA, Embolization Prevention Technologies AS, and Aegis Surgical Ltd, and previously held board positions at CoreValve Inc, Pulsion Medical Systems Corp, and other medical technology companies.

Azin Parhizgar, PhD, is Managing Director, US and an Investment Committee member at 415 Capital, with a background in the medical device industry. She previously served as CEO, President and Board Member of Claret Medical, which she led through clinical trials, FDA approval and a $270M acquisition by Boston Scientific, and earlier held COO and executive roles at Conor Medsystems, Arterial Vascular Engineering and Medtronic. She holds a PhD in Cell, Gene and Tissue Engineering and an MSc in Biomechanical Engineering and Artificial Organ Design from Brown University.

Eduardo Palma is an Associate at 415C, joining the firm in September 2021, where he has supported due diligence and financing processes. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Hons.) from the Technical University of Munich and a Master's degree in Industrial Biotechnology.

Julia Hoffmeister is an Investment Analyst at 415C, which she joined in April 2024, where she supports the investment team on due diligence. She holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Medical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.

Steven F. Bolling, M.D. is a Professor of Surgery in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Michigan, specializing in mitral valve repair. He completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Michigan and trained in general and thoracic surgery at Johns Hopkins University, later helping establish a high-volume multidisciplinary mitral valve clinic at Michigan. He is a medical device innovator, co-inventor of the GeoForm annuloplasty ring, and founder of several companies acquired by larger medical device firms.
