Molly Fitzpatrick first joined The Halifax Group in 2011 as an associate after three years in investment banking, returning in 2021. She focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments and supporting portfolio companies. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in finance from Notre Dame, and previously worked at Mountaingate Capital and Rallyday Partners.

Alex McNutt began his career as an apprentice electrician in the fire alarm industry and spent over 20 years at ADT, eventually heading its Europe and South Africa Fire and Safety division. He completed coursework at Ashridge Management College and earned an MBA, then led growth efforts at PE-backed companies Anglian Group and Pronet Guvenlik. Since 2015 he has served as CEO of Pirtek, a Halifax Fund III portfolio company, overseeing franchise growth and market expansion into Sweden.

Annette Harper joined Halifax in 2026 as an Executive Administrative Assistant in the Washington, DC office, supporting senior members of the firm. She previously worked as an Executive Assistant and Recruiter at organizations including KPMG and PwC. She holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Anthropology from Georgia State University.

Brendan Rennie joined Halifax in 2023, where he evaluates investment opportunities, executes transactions, and monitors portfolio companies. He previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Blair in Chicago, covering M&A advisory in Supply Chain Services and Specialty Distribution, and earlier as a Strategic Business Consultant at Ernst & Young. He holds a Master's in Accounting from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, and is a licensed CPA.

Brent Williams served as a Senior Partner at The Halifax Group from 1999 to 2022. Before Halifax, he was a Director in PaineWebber's Merchant Banking Division, which he helped establish, and previously worked in PaineWebber's Investment Banking Division, at Smith Barney, and in the Project Finance Department of Sumitomo Bank. He holds a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Rice University.

Dave Evans joined Halifax as an Operating Executive in October 2025, where he supports portfolio companies with growth strategy, mentors executive teams, and evaluates new healthcare investment opportunities. He has over 20 years of finance and operations leadership in public and private healthcare companies, including serving as CFO of PromptCare, COO of BioScrip, and CFO of Byram Healthcare, with earlier finance roles at Option Care, Coram Healthcare, and Baxter International. He holds a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University.

David McGinnis joined The Halifax Group in 2011 as Tax Director. He previously handled engagements for communications, distribution, and private equity clients at McGladrey in Raleigh, N.C., and earlier served as Tax Manager for Duke University and Duke University Health System. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Ed Nalbandian is an IT services executive who joined Halifax as an operating executive in 2022 after consulting on IT services investment opportunities, where he helps lead an initiative to build a managed services platform. He previously served as global President of Services at Avaya and founded managed services providers Enabling Managed Services (sold to SPS, where he became CEO before its sale to ConvergeOne) and AimNet (sold to Cognizant), and earlier worked at IBM and AT&T. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina.

Emily Mendelson joined Halifax in 2024, where she evaluates investment opportunities, executes transactions, and monitors portfolio companies. She previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Stifel in Baltimore, advising on sell-side and buy-side M&A within the Environmental Services and Business Services sectors. She holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business.

Greg Caswill trained as a chartered accountant and worked across sectors including restaurants and real estate investment before moving into pharma services, where he was Finance Director for PPS Europe (later sold to Paraxel). In 2002 he co-founded Envision Pharma Group, a provider of scientific and technology solutions to Medical Affairs divisions of pharmaceutical companies, and currently serves as its Executive Co-Chairman. He is also an active investor in a number of private businesses.

Jake Gober joined Halifax in 2024, where he evaluates investment opportunities, executes transactions, and monitors portfolio companies. He previously worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company in New York, advising Fortune 500 clients on strategy and supporting private equity diligence, and earlier held operations and revenue strategy roles at Via Transportation. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard College.

John Pujals joined Halifax in 2020 as Accounting Manager and handles financial reporting, accounting, and compliance. Before Halifax, he was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers serving private equity clients. He earned his BS and Master of Accounting from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kim Nabors joined Halifax in 2024, where she provides administrative support and investor communication for the finance and operations teams in the Raleigh office. Before Halifax, she worked as a research analyst at Vertical IQ, a provider of industry intelligence to financial and insurance companies.

Mary Kelly joined StrataTech Education Group in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer and became President and CEO in 2011, retiring from the CEO role in November 2025 while remaining on the StrataTech board. She has over twenty years of experience in postsecondary education across for-profit institutions (Bryant & Stratton Business College and Lincoln Educational Services) and non-profit ones (New School University and Hudson Valley Community College), and previously served as Chief Academic Officer for the American Red Cross of Massachusetts Bay.

Nichole Hamrick joined Halifax in 2006, where she provides administrative, travel, and event support for the partners and investment teams. Before Halifax, she worked for 10 years as an Administrative Support Specialist at UPS Public Affairs, The Law Office of Jo Ann P. Myles, and GW Business Services.

Rick Morrow joined Halifax Group as an operating executive in 2020, working with portfolio companies on operational improvements, product positioning, and M&A. He previously served as COO of Kastle Systems International and as EVP of Operations at WorldStrides, a Carlyle Group portfolio company, and earlier co-founded a cellular telephone service provider and a cable television system in Stockholm, Sweden. He holds a law degree from the University of Virginia, a master's in economics from the London School of Economics, and a bachelor's in economics from Stanford University.

Robert Holcomb joined Halifax Group as an Operating Executive in July 2026, where he advises portfolio companies on data, systems, and reporting strategy to improve analytics maturity and support AI-ready operations. He spent 20 years at Johnson & Johnson in senior data and analytics leadership roles, and previously worked at Waters Corporation and United Technologies. He holds an MS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Business from Wake Forest University.

Ryan Murray joined Halifax in 2025, where he evaluates investment opportunities, executes transactions, and monitors portfolio companies. He previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at KeyBanc Capital Markets in Cleveland, advising on M&A in the Specialty Distribution and Manufacturing sectors. He holds a B.S. in Accounting with a secondary major in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.

Sutton Blanchard joined Halifax in 2026, where he evaluates investment opportunities, executes transactions, and monitors portfolio companies. He previously worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Raymond James in New York, advising on sell-side and buy-side M&A as well as equity and debt capital raises in the consumer sector. He holds a B.S. in Commerce with a second major in Spanish from the University of Virginia.

Tom Voorhees spent four decades in home-based health services, joining PromptCare as President and CEO in 2007 and serving there for 17 years, where he worked on ventilator therapy and nutrition programs through the Respiratory Division and specialty infusion therapies through Home Infusion. During his tenure the company made several acquisitions and completed two private equity transactions, the first with Halifax. After retiring in 2022, he remains an investor and board member with several PE-backed healthcare services providers.

Will Morrissett joined Halifax in 2024, where he focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments and supporting portfolio companies. He previously worked as an associate at Pamlico Capital and began his career as an investment banking analyst at Piper Sandler Companies. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in History from UNC Chapel Hill.

Jamie Cavanaugh first joined The Halifax Group in 2012 and rejoined in 2018 after business school; he sources and evaluates investments, monitors portfolio companies, and executes transactions. He previously worked as an investment banking analyst at Fidus Partners and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, holding an MBA from Chicago Booth and a B.S. from the University of Virginia.

Taylor Bryan joined Halifax as an Associate in 2022, evaluating investment opportunities, executing transactions, and monitoring portfolio companies. He previously worked in M&A advisory at Hovde Group and in J.P. Morgan's Private Bank, and holds a finance degree from Wake Forest University.

Thomas High joined The Halifax Group in 2006, overseeing fund management, strategic planning, and firm operations including finance, HR, IT, and investor reporting. He previously worked in KPMG's assurance practice and holds a Masters in Accounting from North Carolina State University and is a CPA.
