Sara Crown Star, President of SCS Innovations, brings company-building experience and a returns-first view treating women's health as an underappreciated economic opportunity across drugs, devices, diagnostics and digital health.

Gregory B. Brown, M.D. is CEO and a director of Memgen, Inc., a development-stage company working on next-generation viral immunotherapeutics including oncolytic viruses. He co-founded HCR Partners, a healthcare-focused asset management firm, and was previously a partner at Paul Capital Partners where he co-managed royalty investments; earlier he was co-head of investment banking and head of healthcare at Adams, Harkness & Hill and a biotechnology research analyst at Vector Securities International. Trained as a transplantation immunologist and thoracic and vascular surgeon, he holds a B.A. from Yale College, an M.D. from SUNY Upstate Medical Center, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Katherine Kalin has over 25 years of experience as a senior executive in healthcare and professional services. She led corporate strategy at Celgene from 2012-2017, held leadership roles in marketing, sales, and business development at Johnson & Johnson from 2002-2011, and was a partner at McKinsey & Co. from 1990-2002. Her industry experience covers diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and digital health; she holds a B.A. from Durham University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Nisha Chakravarty is an impact executive whose 20-year career spans the social sector, financial services, and publishing, with a focus on expanding access to education, healthcare, and employment through technology and market-based approaches. She currently serves as EVP at Safe Water Network, has founded social enterprises in Ethiopia, India, and Kenya, and previously held CFO and COO roles as well as finance and shared-services positions at Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Nomura India, TIME, and Scholastic. She lectures on social innovation at The Wharton School and holds an Ed.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a B.S.E. from The Wharton School.

Rache Simmons is a breast cancer surgeon who has practiced breast surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital for three decades. She is a founding member and Past-President of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and serves as Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion and inaugural Director of the Office of Women at Weill Cornell Medicine. She holds a bachelor's degree and MD from Duke University and an MBA from Cornell University's Johnson School of Business.

Randy Cohen (Randolph B. Cohen), PhD, is the MBA Class of 1975 Senior Lecturer of Entrepreneurial Management at Harvard Business School, where he teaches finance and entrepreneurship and leads Field X, a course for MBA students starting businesses. He has previously served as an Associate Professor at HBS and a Visiting Associate Professor at MIT Sloan, and his research covers money manager selection, asset allocation, risk management, municipal securities, cryptocurrency, and longevity insurance. He has helped start and grow several businesses, mainly in investment management, and holds an AB in mathematics from Harvard College and a PhD in finance and economics from the University of Chicago.

Sean Ainsworth is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Immusoft, with over 25 years in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He founded and led RetroSense Therapeutics, a gene therapy company sold to Allergan in 2016, and serves as Lead Independent Director at Ocuphire Pharma (Nasdaq: OCUP). He founded Ainsworth BioConsulting in 2004 and holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a BS in Microbiology from UC San Diego.

Stephan Oppenheimer is Managing Partner of Pontalba Capital, a private investment firm. He previously spent five years as a Partner at Moelis Capital Partners, where he oversaw the business services practice, and ten years with CCMP Capital (formerly JPMorgan Partners) in New York and London leading U.S. and international investments. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate School of Business, both from the University of Virginia.

Stephanie Wang is an Investor at FemHealth Ventures focused on innovations in women's health. She previously worked as a consultant at ZS Associates, a healthcare-focused management consulting firm, advising pharmaceutical companies on R&D, pricing, value and access, and marketing. She holds a B.A. in Finance and Computer Science from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Susanne Seripiero is the Executive Administrator at FemHealth Ventures, supporting operational functions. She previously served as Executive Assistant to the COO at the New York-based hedge fund Kingdon Capital, and holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Secondary Education from Kean University.
