Previously, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Episteme, Inc., a research and development company, and was a founding partner and Managing Partner at Adjuvant Capital, a $300 million life sciences investment fund focused on late-stage development of products for global health challenges in low- and middle-income countries.

Kabeer Aziz is co-founder and partner at Adjuvant Capital. He previously worked at the Global Health Investment Fund, where he managed investments including Themis, Univercells, Atomo Diagnostics, and Access Bio, and earlier held roles at Metalmark Capital investing in healthcare and at Greenhill & Co. advising on biopharmaceutical M&A. He holds a degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Philippe Dro is trained in industrial pharmacy and finance and has worked across the European biotech and medtech sectors. His recent roles include Board member and CBO of Themis Biosciences (acquired by Merck & Co) and CEO and Supervisory Board member of GlycoVaxyn AG (acquired by GSK); earlier he served as CEO and Chairman of Endoart S.A. (acquired by Allergan) and was part of the founding team at Axovan (acquired by Actelion). His earlier pharmaceutical career included management positions at Novartis, SkyePharma, and Antares Pharma.

Curt LaBelle is a Venture Partner at Adjuvant Capital with over 16 years of experience investing in healthcare companies. He was previously a managing director at Tullis Health Investors and a vice president at Investor Growth Capital. He holds a BS in economics from Brigham Young University and both MD and MBA degrees from Columbia University.

Mark Sullivan has 11 years of executive management, advisory, and board experience in biotechnology, along with 28 years in clinical development spanning biotech, large pharmaceutical, contract services, and academic settings. He has led project development of five biopharmaceutical products, the most recent of which received FDA approval in June 2018. At GHIF he led the team that brought the moxidectin program through late-stage development to FDA approval as a new treatment for onchocerciasis.

Abrar Haque is an Associate on the Adjuvant investment team, working with the Adjuvant Global Health Technology Fund. He previously worked as an investment banking associate at Aquilo Partners, advising life sciences clients on M&A, licensing, and capital raising, and earlier served as a life sciences consultant at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant). He earned a BA in Economics and studied pre-medical sciences at UC Berkeley.

Sandra Glucksmann joined Adjuvant Capital as an Advisory Partner and Investment Committee member in 2023, and is CEO of Sensorium Therapeutics. She has over 30 years in biotech, serving as founding CEO and President of Cedilla Therapeutics and founding COO of Editas Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and cell biology from the University of Chicago.

Christian W. Mandl, Ph.D., M.D., is a Senior Advisor to Adjuvant Capital who consults for industry and non-profit organizations on vaccine and viral vector programs. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Research at VIR Biotechnology and, until 2015, as Global Head of Research, Early and Exploratory Clinical Development at Novartis Vaccines, where he initiated the self-amplifying RNA (SAM) technology. Before joining Novartis in 2008 he was Professor and Assistant Head of the Clinical Institute of Virology at the Medical University of Vienna, focusing on the molecular biology of RNA viruses and flaviviruses; he holds a PhD and MD from the University of Vienna and an MS in Biochemistry from Pennsylvania State University.

David Washer is Head of Operations and Impact at Adjuvant Capital, where he leads fund and impact operations, including ESG integration and impact due diligence, measurement, and management. He previously served as a Manager on the Impact Investing Management Team at Bridgespan and held roles at Save the Children, the Ford Foundation, and McKinsey & Co.'s investment office (MIO Partners). He holds an MBA/MPH from Dartmouth College and a BA from Yale University.

Evelyn Yanatos serves as Director of Finance and Compliance at Adjuvant Capital, providing outsourced operational, regulatory, and audit and tax oversight services to the firm. Her background covers investment analysis and valuation, fundraising, SEC and other financial reporting, accounting, audit, and tax. She holds a BS in Accounting from Binghamton University and an MBA from Fordham's Gabelli School of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.

Gerard Cunningham is an Operating Partner at Adjuvant Capital with 25 years of experience in the vaccine industry, global health partnerships, and consulting. He previously led the new vaccine planning function at Merck and spent over three years at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supporting HIV, TB, and malaria programs, negotiating vaccine access partnerships and conducting technical and supplier diligence. He has also served as a Senior Advisor to the Global Health Investment Fund since 2012 and holds engineering degrees from Cambridge University and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Giulia Balconi is an Associate at Adjuvant Capital with a background in business, finance, and public health. She began her career as an investment banker on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications team at J.P. Morgan in London before earning a Master of Public Health at UC Berkeley, focused on healthcare innovation, global health policy, and maternal and child health. She later worked at Natera, a biotech company focused on cell-free DNA testing, and holds a BSc and MSc from Bocconi University in Italy.

Jim Robinson is a biologics manufacturing expert who served as Vice President, Global Technical Operations, Vaccines, Biological and Sterile Products at Merck & Co. from 2010 to 2015, and earlier as Vice President, Technical and Quality Operations at Novavax from 2007 to 2010. He previously spent about 20 years at Sanofi Pasteur, including as Vice President, Industrial Operations from 1998 to 2006. He holds Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and serves on several scientific advisory boards, including as Vice Chair of CEPI's Scientific Advisory Committee.

Joshua Adeoye is a Principal, Investments at Hevolution Foundation with experience across venture capital and private equity in healthcare and life sciences. As an investment professional and physician-scientist, he leads sourcing, diligence, and execution for biopharma and healthcare investments ranging from early-stage to growth equity, with focus areas including healthspan, global health, precision medicine, cell and gene therapy, and digital health. His clinical background informs evaluation of therapeutic pipelines, regulatory strategy, and commercialization readiness, and he serves as a board member providing portfolio companies support in governance, fundraising, and market access.

Kate Antrobus is a global health professional and financier with over 15 years of experience expanding access to medical technologies in emerging markets. She has held senior roles at Univercells, where she worked on biomanufacturing for vaccines and biologics, and at Lion's Head Global Partners advising on blended-finance strategies for health systems in low- and middle-income countries; she was also part of the investment team at the Global Health Investment Fund and started her finance career at J.P. Morgan. At Adjuvant she supports portfolio strategy, partnerships, and industrialization models to expand access to health products, focused on deploying capital in sub-Saharan Africa.

Markus Gemuend is a biopharmaceutical executive with over twenty years of experience developing vaccines and biologics from early development through global commercialization. He has held leadership roles across R&D, operations, and market introduction at both multinational pharmaceutical companies and global health organizations. As a Senior Advisor at Adjuvant Capital, he advises on industrialization strategies, technology transfer, and partnerships aimed at expanding access to health products.

Michael R. Hodges, M.D., BSc., is an infectious disease clinician and RNA medicines drug development executive with three decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. He serves as Chief Medical Officer at Amplyx Pharmaceuticals and previously held CMO roles at Santaris A/S and Altair Therapeutics, along with earlier work in infectious diseases and oncology programs at Pfizer Global Research and Development. He earned his M.D. (MBBS) and a BSc. in Pharmacology from the University of London.

Neha Agarwal is a Senior Advisor at Adjuvant Capital, joining from PATH where she serves as Senior Director of Strategy. Her work focuses on market access and product introduction for health technologies—including vaccines, diagnostics, and medical devices—across low- and middle-income countries, working with governments, multilaterals, and industry. At Adjuvant she supports portfolio strategy, stakeholder engagement, and market-entry models for essential health products.

Peter A. Patriarca, M.D., is the Principal of Immuno-Vax, LLC and a senior affiliate consultant with Biologics Consulting Group, providing regulatory and technical consulting across vaccine and biological product development. He previously served as Corporate Head and Vice President of Worldwide Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance at MedImmune (2001-2005), and as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service at the CDC (1980-1992) and the FDA (1993-2001), including as Director of the Division of Viral Products at CBER's Office of Vaccines Research and Review. He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and has advised bodies including the CDC, WHO, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

Sophie Allauzen has two decades of international experience in R&D, business development, and portfolio management across diagnostic industries, covering the full lifecycle of diagnostic products in both developed and developing markets. Her background includes overseeing malaria and neglected-disease diagnostic programs at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, leading blood testing at Novartis Diagnostics, and managing R&D for immuno-assays at Bio-Rad, following five years in infectious disease test development at Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur in France. She holds a PhD in biochemistry/immunology from Montpellier University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in allergy at the University of Minnesota; she currently works as an independent consultant.
