Investment thesis
Blackbird's Giants program supports pre-idea and idea-stage founders across Australia and New Zealand by building community rather than running a traditional accelerator. It connects ambitious first-time founders with mentors drawn from the Blackbird portfolio, operators and ecosystem experts through weekly in-person meetups in Sydney and Melbourne plus virtual 1-1 mentoring sessions. Eligibility requires an active startup idea worked on for under two years and a personal connection to ANZ. The program is free and does not take equity, aiming to help early founders validate ideas, build MVPs and forge pathways into the startup ecosystem.
