Altra focuses on late-stage private technology companies that are proven industry leaders or disruptors with capital-efficient growth and meaningful long-term upside. Its core strategy is providing liquidity to early stakeholders via secondary transactions and LP buyouts, enabling investment outside of fundraising cycles with smaller checks, less competition, and pricing flexibility. It also makes minority investments in growth equity and pre-IPO rounds from Series B onward. Altra offers diversified exposure through dedicated funds and single-company co-investments, making late-stage private investing accessible to individuals, family offices, RIAs, and institutions worldwide, and works directly with companies for transaction approval.
