Investment thesis
Radar Ventures backs early-stage deep tech and true platform technologies—inventions that enable others to build new technologies for the advancement of humanity. Focus areas include the sustainable future of food, water and energy; the advancement of health and medicine; communications; computing; robotics; AGI; and defence technologies. The firm prefers to invest early and follow on as companies grow, with investment sizes varying by opportunity. Radar describes itself as neither a pure impact fund nor a fund purely seeking the highest returns, but one investing with purpose in a small number of areas where it has deep connection and high conviction.
