Zebediah Rice is an investor and entrepreneur who has founded or backed companies across a 30-year career beginning in the early 1990s. He previously worked in corporate venture capital at News Corp on early-stage software investments across Australia, New Zealand, and China, and co-founded and served as Managing Partner of Angeleno Group, a clean energy venture firm that grew to over $500M AUM with multiple IPO and M&A exits. He holds a BA in Government and Economics from Bowdoin College.

Chris James is head of trading at King River Capital and a leader of the firm's Digital Asset Strategy. He has worked in financial markets since 2004, beginning in equity derivatives at Deutsche Bank and later holding senior roles at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup across Australia and Hong Kong, focusing on equity derivatives, delta-one, and macro thematic strategies in Asia-Pacific. He was a founding partner and portfolio manager at Reminiscent Capital, a macro hedge fund, and has been investing in crypto since 2017. He graduated from the University of Technology Sydney.

Dom Tayco leads operational functions at King River Capital, covering finance, compliance, human capital, and investor relations. He previously worked as a Senior Tax Manager in Deloitte's financial services corporate tax division and spent 15 years as CFO and later CCO of alternative assets firm Stafford Capital Partners, before founding Thaddeus Martin Compliance to help private equity and venture capital managers with compliance, risk management, and sustainability. He is a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of NSW and holds Bachelor's degrees in Business and in Law & Legal Practice from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Ed Davies joined King River Capital in 2019, where he sources new investments and supports portfolio companies. He previously worked at AIM, a Sydney-based global long-short hedge fund focused on Asia that managed over $200 million, and held Summer Analyst roles at Deutsche Bank (Global Markets) and Omni Partners in London. Originally from Queenstown, New Zealand, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from the University of Sydney.

Jane Chen is an investor at King River Capital with nearly ten years of investing experience. Before joining the firm, she established the early-stage venture investing practice for a New York-based single family office, and earlier worked in the Advisory Group at investment bank PJT Partners covering financial services, gaming, and enterprise software. She holds a BA in Economics with a secondary in Computer Science from Harvard University.

Jeff Holmberg is a principal at King River Capital, where he co-leads the firm's web3 gaming efforts. He has worked in financial markets since 2006, with roles at Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and Clinton Investment Management, and later held positions at OpenSea and Yield Guild Games (YGG), where he oversaw investments and asset acquisition.

Sally Yu joined King River Capital in 2021 and focuses on early-stage AI-native software startups, dividing her time between San Francisco and Sydney. Before King River, she was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs, working on IPOs, equity raises and M&A transactions. Aiden Byrne is a Fund Accountant on King River Capital's finance and operations team. Before King River, he worked in private credit at Macquarie Group and in fund operations at Automic Group. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from The University of Sydney.

Berenice Lopez started at King River Capital as an analyst before moving into an office coordinator role. She previously worked as a customer service and operations analyst in ocean freight at Yusen Logistics Mexico, gaining experience in supply chain management and logistics. Originally from Mexico, she holds a bachelor's degree in international business and commerce and has pursued additional diplomas in France and Australia.

Ellie Wong works on fund accounting and reporting at King River Capital, which she joined in 2021. She previously served as a senior financial planning and analysis leader at Kabam and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Originally from Beijing, she holds a Master's degree from the University of New South Wales and is a CPA Public Practice Accountant.

Jack Daley works with King River Capital's portfolio companies, evaluates new opportunities, and helps source new investments. Before joining the firm in 2026, he was an Equity Research Analyst at Shaw and Partners covering small- and micro-cap technology companies, and earlier worked as an operator in the payments industry. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Science (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics) from the University of Sydney.

Jane Deloughery leads fund operations and investor relations at King River Capital, bringing more than 25 years of experience in accounting and finance. She previously worked with small businesses and with organizations including Accenture, St. George Bank, Christie's, and an NHS Trust across Sydney and London. She holds a B.Com in Accounting from the University of Newcastle.

Jeremy Parris joined King River Capital in 2024, where he sources new investments and supports portfolio companies. He previously worked at Delphi Ventures on gaming investments and token design, was a founding member of Illuvium's DAO, and served as an ambassador for Yield Guild Games. His work has involved advising web3 gaming titles on token design and go-to-market.

Joe Azzi works across King River Capital's global investment, governance and fund operations streams, specializing in corporate advisory and M&A. He previously advised on private transactions in financial services, insurance, industrials and technology at two national M&A practices, and served as general manager of a scaling accident-management technology business. He holds a Master of Laws and a combined Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.

Mark Alberto joined King River Capital's operations team in March 2023, bringing experience in fund valuation, accounting, financial reporting, and fund administration across hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital funds. He began his career at State Street, spending eight years across its Sydney and California offices, and later worked at a private equity firm and several financial administration companies in Australia and the US. He holds a B.Com in Accounting from the University of Sydney.

Tegan Reihana is an Executive Assistant at King River Capital, where she supports the co-founders and the broader team. She joined the firm in 2022 after working as a Team Assistant at 151 Property, and has around a decade of experience in business administration across property and law firms.

Theodora Chong is an Operations and Investments Analyst at King River Capital. She previously worked as a Senior Customer Service Associate at Automic Group, where she supported outsourced fund registry and investor relations for large Australian registered investment managed schemes.

Thomas Sienkiewicz is a Paralegal on King River Capital's Operations Team. Before joining the firm, he worked in Small to Medium Enterprise Business Banking at Commonwealth Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Wollongong.
