She co-founded Tech for Social Good, a not-for-profit focused on responsible impact tech, and works with startups on commercialisation and scale-up.

Emerald Scofield is an Associate at Main Sequence Ventures, focusing on early-stage deep-tech investment and company building across themes of food production, decarbonisation, and healthcare. She has five years of deep-tech investing experience, previously investing at a New Zealand-based fund. On the operator side, she worked to scale a medtech company and led an early-stage climate tech startup.

Jun Qu blends engineering training, McKinsey strategy experience and Stanford study to help Australian scientists build globally relevant deep-tech mining and critical-minerals companies, offering explicit guidance on venture-backable mining tech.

Erika Enberg is Head of People at Main Sequence, where she works with portfolio companies, founders, and executives on building and scaling teams and leads the Portfolio People Leaders community. She has 20 years of experience in people and culture, including a decade working with venture-backed scale-ups across Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the USA. Enberg is also a certified transformational coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation, focusing on coaching executives and leaders.

Grace Bird is Head of Atmosphere, Main Sequence's pre-seed fund for deep tech founders, where she invests in companies at the earliest stage, including those emerging from universities and research institutes. She previously led early stage deep tech investment at Breakthrough Victoria and spent nearly three years advising on innovation policy within the Victorian Government. Earlier in her career, she worked on spinouts, products, and programs within a corporate venture fund.

Jo-Ann Fonseka works in operations, governance, and program delivery, with a career spanning communications, healthcare operations, and venture capital initiatives. She has worked with organizations ranging from small teams to a deep tech venture capital firm with over $1B in assets under management, focusing on process design, program coordination, and building digital workspaces from unstructured information. Based in Brisbane, she is open to roles in operations, program management, and business or executive support.

Lyn Hill is Head of Finance at Main Sequence, with experience spanning accounting, corporate finance, early-stage investment, operations, governance, project management, and process design. Her work includes managing financial and fund operations for venture capital funds of up to $500 million and advising on a $7 billion M&A transaction for a listed corporation, across industries including startups, venture capital, listed corporates, and nonprofits. A chartered accountant and AICD graduate member, she holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and has worked in Australia, Southeast Asia, the UK, and East Africa.

Virginia Crawter serves as General Counsel and Company Secretary at Main Sequence Ventures, a venture capital firm. Her experience spans the venture capital and private equity sectors, with a focus on corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, licensing, and commercial legal advice.

Alex Romero is an Investment Manager at Main Sequence, focused on company creation and early-stage investing in deep tech areas including quantum, AI, advanced physics, and industrial systems. She previously worked on the investment team at Uniseed, handling university spinouts and research commercialisation with institutions such as the Universities of Melbourne, Queensland, Sydney, UNSW, and CSIRO, and earlier co-founded a non-profit supporting refugees in Europe. She holds honours degrees in applied science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
