At Vertex since early 2016, Aviad has led investments including LightCyber, Dynamic Yield, Spot, and Own Data. He previously worked at Bessemer Israel, McKinsey, and was a founding partner of Oryzn Capital.

David leads Vertex Ventures Israel's Asian activities, raising capital from Asian investors and facilitating cross-border deals. He co-founded IIF and COIF, early Israeli VC funds for Japanese corporate investors, and previously practiced law in Japan and Israel.

With Vertex since 1998, Emanuel focuses on enterprise, cybersecurity, mobility, and digital health. A former lawyer and financial journalist at Globes, his investments include Innoviz and Adaptive Shield.

At Vertex since 2014 with an operational and technical background, Yanai has led investments including Meta Networks and Perfecto Mobile. He was previously GM at DVTel and an engineer at Intel.

Dana is an Assistant Controller at Vertex handling the Fund's financials and investor relations. She joined in 2020 after working as a Senior Auditor at PwC.

Dar joined Vertex in 2022 and supports office operations including front desk management, welfare activities, logistics, and events. She previously held coordination and office management roles at Mashcal and Concept academy of design.

Iris is Executive Assistant to Yoram Oron and AML Officer at Vertex, with over 14 years of experience in office management and operations. She joined in late 2005 after office manager roles at several IT and security companies.

Roza is the bookkeeper at Vertex Ventures with over 15 years of finance experience. She joined in 2018 after serving as chief bookkeeper at Psagot Investment house.

Yuval joined Vertex in 2019 as office manager and is responsible for operational and administrative aspects of the firm. She previously held administrative positions at leading law firms.

Liat has over 15 years of experience in global finance, accounting, taxation, and operations, handling the Fund's financials and investor relations. She joined Vertex in early 2015 after roles at Apax Partners, ICV, Polymer Logistics, and Ernst & Young.

Merav has over 21 years of experience in global finance, accounting, taxation, and operations. She joined Vertex in 2004 after serving as Financial Controller at Bristol Myers Squibb Israel and Tundo Communication and Telephony.

Ran oversees the financial aspects of the Vertex Funds, including cash management, reporting, and portfolio monitoring. He was previously an investment banker at Evergreen and investment manager for the Israel Corporation.

An Investment Associate since 2024, Roni conducts due diligence and manages deal flow with a data-driven approach. She was previously a Growth Product Manager at ZoomInfo and worked at Wix.

Tami brings over 15 years in software development and product management, including as VP of Product Management at Varonis from 2011 to 2019. She previously founded a mobile platform startup and managed big data and cyber projects for the IDF.

Joining Vertex in 2021, Yaara works with portfolio companies to deliver value and support growth. Her prior background spans tech, politics, and non-profit work, including roles at EcoPeace Middle East, the British Embassy in Israel, and IATI.

Emmitt has over three decades of health care investment experience spanning venture capital, investment research, and banking, and was previously recognized as a leading health care industry analyst. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers.
