Ted Cavan joined Runway Growth Capital in 2022 as Managing Director, focusing on technology industry investments. She is a CPA and holds a BS in Accounting and Economics from Loyola University of Chicago.

Cody Jones joined Runway Growth Capital in September 2022 as an Associate on the investment team. He previously worked as an Analyst at LionTree, a technology, media, and telecom-focused investment and merchant bank, and as a Senior M&A Associate at Benitago Group, which acquires and operates Amazon FBA businesses. He holds an Honours degree in Investment Management from McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management.

David Spreng founded Runway Growth Capital in 2015 and chairs the firm's investment committee. He has over 30 years of experience as a venture capitalist and growth debt lender, having been involved in the formation of nearly 50 technology companies that produced 18 IPOs and 14 trade sales, and he appeared on Forbes' Midas List four times. In 2010 he moved from venture capital into growth lending as a co-founder of Decathlon Capital Partners, a provider of revenue-based loans.

Jack Drury joined Runway Growth Capital in May 2024 as a Senior Associate focused on portfolio valuation, where he prepares quarterly valuations of portfolio companies and monitors their performance. He previously worked as a Manager in the Valuation group at Insight Partners and as an associate at BDO in the Valuation & Capital Market Analysis group. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Penn State University's Smeal College of Business, graduating Cum Laude.

Jack Milligan joined Runway Growth Capital in July 2024 as an Associate on the investment team. He previously worked as a healthcare investment banking analyst at Piper Sandler, covering biopharma and tools and diagnostics. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Bowdoin College, with a minor in music.

Junaid Ahmed joined Runway Growth Capital in June 2022 as Senior Fund Accountant and works in portfolio accounting and operations. He previously served as Senior Accountant II at JLL, a commercial real estate company, where he managed office building portfolios for clients including real estate investment trusts and hospitals. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a licensed CPA.

Kevin Bhimani joined Runway Growth Capital in July 2024 as an Associate on the investment team. He previously worked at Bank of America, first as an Analyst on the High Yield desk and later as an Analyst and Associate on the Healthcare Investment Banking team. Lauren Barthalow joined Runway in May 2023 as a Senior Fund Accountant and works in financial reporting. She previously served as an Assistant Fund Manager at fund administrator Alter Domus, with experience in accounting, financial reporting, and investor reporting across fund structures such as private credit funds, BDCs, and SMAs. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Financial Planning from Illinois State University.

Leah Church joined Runway Growth Capital in January 2023 as Assistant Vice President, Finance & Accounting, and works in financial reporting. She has roughly a decade of experience in SEC and financial reporting, fund accounting for alternative investments, and middle and back office functions, previously serving as a Client Director at fund administrator Alter Domus and as a Controller at Z Capital Group. She holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a CPA.

Mary Weipert joined Runway Growth Capital in May 2026 as Manager, Finance & Accounting. Nate Benedict joined Runway Growth Capital in August 2021 as an Associate on the investment team and now serves as a Director. He previously served as a 2nd Vice President at Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services in back-office private equity administration and worked in the assurance group at RSM US LLP. Tom Raterman joined Runway Growth Capital in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and serves on the firm's investment committee. He has over 30 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and financial management, with a background in credit analysis, structuring, and lending, beginning his career as a corporate lender at Continental Bank and Security Pacific Bank. His prior roles include Treasurer at Discovery Zone, co-founder and CFO/EVP at LKQ Corporation, and Partner and COO of GSV Financial Group and GSV Ventures. He holds a Masters of Management in Finance from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.S. in Finance from Miami University.

Yiorgos Giannetos joined Runway Growth Capital as a Senior Fund Accountant in May 2025. He previously worked as a Senior Fund Accountant at fund administrator Alter Domus, where he prepared financial statements, capital call and distribution notices, and managed quarter-end closings for multiple funds. He has over five years of accounting experience, including more than three years in private equity fund accounting, and holds a BS in Accounting from Northeastern Illinois University.
