Investment thesis
For nearly three decades, CEI Ventures has invested in growth-oriented businesses that create good jobs in communities overlooked by traditional venture capital. The firm targets companies that pay a living wage, provide basic benefits, and maintain fair, engaging workplaces with opportunities for training and advancement. It seeks to invest where capital is scarce but the potential for both financial return and social impact is strong. CEI Ventures treats investments as collaborative partnerships, contributing capital alongside active involvement, and works with its parent company, CEI, to bring workforce development specialists and environmental, technical, and consulting support to portfolio companies.
