Issam Dairanieh is an Operating Partner at Ascent Capital Holdings with over 30 years of experience in technology assessment, development, and investment across emerging energy, environmental, and materials sectors. His career includes 18 years at BP, where he built and led the corporate venture capital team, as well as roles as CEO of the Global CO2 Initiative and co-director of a Middle East-based technology accelerator focused on sustainability. His work spans renewable energy, conventional energy, CO2 utilization technologies, and commercialization of clean energy innovations.

Steve Foster is a venture partner at Piva Ventures and managing director at SF Advisors. He previously held partner roles at Crosspoint Venture Partners and director-level business development positions at Hewlett Packard and 3Com. His professional experience spans communications, semiconductors, computing, and storage sectors.

He has founded and led multiple venture-backed startups in Silicon Valley and currently serves as faculty at Stanford Graduate School of Business, teaching entrepreneurship and climate and energy technology courses. Wood holds the positions of Venture Partner at B Capital, Senior Advisor at Piva Capital and Energy Impact Partners, and holds degrees from Stanford University.

Tony Di Bona is CFO at Piva Capital with over 30 years in venture capital finance, covering fund formation, investment structures, fundraising, and financial due diligence. He previously co-founded a VC firm that raised over $1 billion for early-stage companies and earlier worked in finance and operations for a national retail company in Australia and New Zealand.
