Investment thesis
Transmedia Capital is an early-stage technology venture fund focused on mobile technologies and business cloud applications, taking both horizontal and vertical approaches. Its target sectors include business intelligence and SaaS/enterprise, commerce and marketplaces, fintech/blockchain/NFT, robotics/AI, and social/messaging. The firm looks for technical founders with genuine inspiration, US-headquartered companies that are post-beta or past market launch, and defensible businesses that leverage data, economies of scale, and network effects. It prefers leaders with strong communication and team-building skills, and companies raising less than $5 million in their current financing. The partners emphasize founder-first, hands-on support drawing on their operating experience and networks.
