Investment thesis
Hinge Capital focuses on the earliest stages of company building, investing across pre-seed, seed, friends-and-family, angel and Series A rounds. The firm favors bold, curious founders pursuing non-obvious ideas that reshape existing industries or create new categories, particularly in next-generation vertical technologies. Rather than positioning itself as commodity capital, Hinge operates as a platform combining products and programs, run by operators, data scientists, designers and engineers alongside investors, and provides patient, flexible capital for risk-on investments. Since 2010 it has invested in more than 90 companies and built founder programs plus proprietary software to support portfolio companies early on.
