Investment thesis
Founded in 2017, Curious started as an early-stage venture firm and transformed into a permanent holding company after seeing too many businesses acquired, stripped down, and cut off from long-term potential. The firm positions itself as a long-term, operationally deep, AI-native acquisition partner that buys and grows software companies with empathy, aiming to help them evolve alongside technological change rather than be left behind. It holds majority stakes in several software companies and has made numerous minority investments, many of which have been acquired by larger technology companies.
