Investment thesis
Looking Glass Capital focuses on being the first institutional yes for ambitious, mission-driven founders at the pre-seed stage. It concentrates on three areas: health (improving patient care, provider workflows, and health-tech operations), climate and energy (grid resilience, electrification, and energy-efficient construction and industrialization), and economic drivers (software giving people and small businesses leverage, plus education, access, and creativity tools). The firm aims to recognize a company's future potential early and commit with a meaningful check for the stage, leading, co-leading, or anchoring rounds and helping founders fill out the rest. It is intentionally small, run by a single partner, and is currently investing from Fund III.
