Investment thesis
Propel backs ambitious founders at the earliest stages who are rebuilding financial services from first principles and building the infrastructure underneath them. The firm is interested in the intersection of AI, financial technology, payments, insurance, and energy and compute infrastructure, as well as the financialization of physical infrastructure and the building blocks of commerce. Its partners come from operating and corporate development backgrounds in banking and fintech, and take a hands-on approach with founders as they grow.
