Coalition Ventures writes first institutional checks for technical founders working on frontier technologies. It focuses on four areas: next-generation computing (optical, analog, novel silicon, hybrid architectures), resilient communications (high-capacity, secure, adaptive connectivity), physical AI and autonomy (machines that sense, decide, and act in the real world), and advanced manufacturing (new processes, infrastructure, and domestic supply chains). Beyond capital, the firm offers go-to-market support, deep technical expertise from a team and advisors who have built and exited frontier companies, and help accessing non-dilutive defense R&D funding to de-risk technology.
