About

Chester Ng spent seven years as an operator before he ever wrote a cheque. He co-founded SweetLabs in 2008 and, as chief business officer until 2015, raised more than $21 million from Google Ventures, Intel Capital and Bessemer and built its distribution platform to over a million app installs a day, powering software delivery for Lenovo, Amazon and Zynga. In 2016 he joined Atomic as only its second general partner — the venture studio that conceives companies in-house against a running list of hundreds of internal ideas rather than waiting for pitches — and helped close its $320 million fourth fund in 2023, taking it past $750 million under management. He was a founding investor in hims & hers, now a public company, and in OpenStore, Bungalow, Homebound, Replicant, Terminal, Found and Exowatt. He moved from San Francisco to Miami as Atomic relocated, and sits on the Miami Foundation's Venture Miami Council.
