Francisco Alvarez-Demalde is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Riverwood Capital, which he co-heads and helped build since its founding in 2008. Before Riverwood, he worked as an investment executive at KKR focusing on technology private equity, and also at Eton Park and Goldman Sachs & Co. He holds a Licentiate (Honors) in Economics from San Andres University in Argentina, with an exchange program at the Wharton School.

Jeff Parks is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Riverwood Capital, which he has co-led since its inception. Before founding Riverwood, he worked on technology-sector leveraged buyouts at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), invested in distressed companies within the Principal Opportunities Fund at Oaktree Capital Management, and worked as an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles. He holds a dual BA in Economics and Mathematics from Pomona College.

Tom Smach is a Co-founding Partner of Riverwood Capital. Before Riverwood, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the multinational technology company Flextronics. He holds a B.Sc. in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton and has served on the boards of various private and public companies.

Harish Belur is a Partner at Riverwood Capital, which he joined in 2012, where he focuses on B2B companies. Before Riverwood, he led product management teams in network infrastructure and IoT at Cisco Systems. He holds a BTech in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joaquim Lima is a Partner at Riverwood Capital focused on Latin America, which he joined in 2011. He was previously an Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), covering the technology industry and other sectors across Latin America from Washington DC and São Paulo, and earlier held M&A and corporate development roles at Brasil Telecom and worked in investment banking at Citi in Brazil. He earned an MSc in Finance from City University of London as a Chevening Scholar and a BSc in Business Administration from the Federal University of Pernambuco.

Scott Ransenberg is a Partner and Co-Head of Riverwood Growth Credit at Riverwood Capital. Before joining the firm, he worked in the Credit Suisse Technology Group within the Corporate Finance, Investment Banking Division, where he advised on strategic financing initiatives for public and private technology companies. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical and computational sciences from Stanford University.

Shant Sood co-heads Riverwood Growth Credit, a strategy providing structured debt financing to high-growth technology companies. He has worked across credit investing for about two decades, previously co-founding and leading Sanctum Capital, serving as a Managing Director at Hercules Capital, and working as an M&A banker at J.P. Morgan and on the investment team at Comdisco Ventures. He holds a BA from Cornell University (with a year at Oxford) and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Eric Ma is a Principal at Riverwood Capital. He previously worked at Savano Capital Partners, a late-stage venture capital fund, where he invested in growth-oriented technology companies via primary and secondary transactions, and earlier advised middle-market companies on M&A and financing at Davis Capital. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University.

Gustavo Pinheiro is a Principal at Riverwood Capital. He previously worked at Bessemer Venture Partners, where he led the firm's Brazil investment efforts, and then joined BVP portfolio company Enjoei to lead product development. Alex Chetkowski is an Associate at Riverwood Capital. Before joining the firm, he was an Associate at Sunstone Partners, a growth-focused private equity firm investing in software and tech-enabled services, and previously held investing roles at Numeta Capital and SNH Capital Partners.
