Delta-v Capital

Rand Lewis co-founded Delta-v Capital in 2009, a growth equity firm that began by providing secondary liquidity to minority shareholders (secondary directs) and later expanded to offer primary capital as well. Prior to Delta-v, he was a partner at Centennial Ventures, where he invested through the dot-com downturn of 2001 to 2003. He focuses on backing growth-stage technology companies and supporting their management teams.

Colin Barclay is an investor at Delta-v Capital. He grew up in Annapolis and studied at Harvard, later earning an MBA from Tuck. His career includes a summer internship at General Catalyst, time at Insight Partners, and a business development role at Wowza Media Systems, a venture-backed live video technology company.

Dan Williams is an engineer who studied electrical engineering and computer science at MIT, where he completed a cryptography thesis with Ron Rivest and co-invented an encryption algorithm for low-power devices such as SCADA networks. He held engineering, product, and corporate development (M&A) roles at Cisco, then earned an MBA at Wharton before moving into private investing. At Delta-v Capital he focuses on cybersecurity, DevOps, and vertical software.

Garrett Marsilio is an investor at Delta-v Capital, where he works with cloud services and vertical software companies and supports their growth initiatives and acquisitions. He previously invested in high-growth technology ventures at Commonfund Capital. He graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton Scholar and a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.

Connor Heard joined Delta-v's investment team in 2018 after serving as head of finance and chief of staff at healthcare startup Compass, and previously working in a generalist investing role at a family office. He supports portfolio founders as an investor and advisor.

Wali Bacdayan grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana, the child of immigrants from the Philippines. He earned a degree from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Kellogg, then worked at PNC Equity Partners, co-founded Incline Equity Partners, and started several businesses across various industries. He is a Partner at Braemont Capital and continues to invest in growth companies, raise capital, and advise entrepreneurs.

Cat Bode works at Delta-v Capital. She is a mother based in the Boulder, Colorado area, having moved back after living in Carbondale, and is an avid boulderer.

Davis Carter is a member of the Finance and Operations team at Delta-v Capital. He earned dual degrees in accounting and finance from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Denver. His prior experience includes work as an audit senior associate in the asset management group at PwC and a role at Chatham Financial focused on hedge accounting and derivatives structuring.

Ethan Epley developed an early interest in investing and began his career in the Energy Investment Banking Group at Scotiabank in Houston, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and strategic advisory engagements across the energy value chain for clients in the Americas, Middle East, Europe, and Africa. He later shifted his focus toward earlier, growth-stage technology companies and joined the investment team at Delta-v Capital in Colorado.

Kirk Moore holds an undergraduate degree in computer science and a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard, where his research focused on public finance. Before joining Delta-v Capital, he worked as a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, as a management consultant at McKinsey serving tech and telecom clients, and as an operator at a Series A startup that raised over $100 million and reached a successful exit. His work centers on using data to inform investment and business decisions.

Lizzy Wente grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen and graduated from the University of Denver. She began her career as a CPA at PwC, working with real estate investment clients on complex tax matters, and later worked at MG Stover on fund administration and strategic partnerships. She is now part of Delta-v Capital, which partners with companies in their growth phase.

Nikki Shah joined Delta-v Capital in 2025, with a background investing in software and technology-enabled services businesses across M&A and capital markets transactions. She was previously an investor at Clearlake Capital Group, where she worked on majority, minority, and credit deals in technology and industrials, and spent time embedded at portfolio company Team Technologies as interim strategic finance and FP&A lead. She began her career in investment banking in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications group at Goldman Sachs.

Stephenie Lauricella works at Delta-v Capital in an operational/executive support role, having begun her career as an Executive Assistant. She has worked across the finance and tech industries, focusing on organization, efficiency, and supporting the firm's leadership team.

Alex Stensland began her career in investment banking on the technology team at Cowen in San Francisco. She later joined Ibotta, a consumer rewards technology company, where she helped build its finance and strategy function and raise a Series D round at a $1 billion valuation. She now works in growth equity at Delta-v Capital.

Kimberly Kit began her career at Barclays in New York working on deals with technology companies, then moved into private equity in Dallas, where she invested in two restaurant brands. She later relocated to the Bay Area and worked as a SPAC sponsor, partnering with entrepreneurs on IPOs and growth, before joining Delta-v Capital.

Kyle Rogers joined Delta-v Capital in 2016. Before that, he spent 15 years as COO and CIO of a boutique investment bank and a growth equity firm. He attended Dartmouth, where he captained the varsity football team, and coaches youth athletes in the Denver and Boulder areas.
