Wormhole Capital backs deeply independent founders with audacious ambitions who can both anticipate future societal and cultural shifts (which it calls 'time jumping') and build category-defining companies from inception to scale. It focuses on a company's long-term impact and typically invests at an early stage, often partnering with founders at the incubation stage as an inception partner while providing strategic insight and a sounding board across the entire company lifecycle. Although sector-agnostic, the firm seeks business models that inherently drive a positive flywheel effect.

Before Wormhole, Nick was managing partner and co-founder of Mendacre, a seed fund founded in 2017 investing in early-stage technology companies across the US. He began his career as a corporate attorney at Slaughter and May in London and Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York, focusing on M&A, IPOs, private equity and venture capital.
Entrepreneur who founded Clover Health (2014), serving as CEO until December 2022 and continuing as Executive Chair. He previously co-founded CarePoint Health and Ensemble Health, was an early investor and board member at Flatiron Health (through its 2018 sale to Roche), and began his career in finance at Credit Suisse First Boston, J.P. Morgan Partners and Blackstone Group. Wormhole Capital is the investment arm of his family office.
