Investment thesis
NEXTBLUE backs pre-seed to early-stage founders building impactful businesses that address global challenges across Japan, Europe, and the US. It operates three funds: Fund I supporting Japan-Europe startups and their entry into the Japanese market, Fund II dedicated to women's wellbeing (femtech, education, finance, careers), and NEXTBLUE TOKYO, a women's-empowerment fund run with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The firm provides deep, hands-on support including pre-investment business development validation, fast investment decisions by all GPs, and post-investment fundraising introductions plus sales, marketing, PR, and hiring help in Japan. Many of its LPs are corporations, enabling business-development partnerships for startups.
