Alex James is a Partner and founding member of CVS Health Ventures, where he leads finance and capital planning across multiple funds, develops long-term investment strategy, and oversees a portfolio of both direct and LP investments. He has 15 years of healthcare industry experience and previously spent over a decade as a healthcare-focused management consultant, most recently in Deloitte Consulting's Healthcare M&A practice. He holds an MBA from Cornell University and a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics from Syracuse University.

Carter Prince is a Partner at CVS Health Ventures, where he handles direct investments as well as fund strategy and operations, including non-traditional investment vehicles such as warrants. He was previously Chief Growth Officer at Syntegra, an early adopter of large language models and generative AI in healthcare, and led its seed financing and market launch. Earlier he led data partnerships at Aetion and held data and analytics roles at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, SymphonyAI, and Epic Systems.

Justin Brock is a Partner at CVS Health Ventures, where he leads the firm's Growth Equity program, identifying later-stage companies of strategic value to CVS Health. Before joining CVS Health, he oversaw corporate development and strategic planning at Quartet Health, a growth-stage behavioral health company. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Villanova University.

Payal Parikh is a Principal at CVS Health Ventures, where she supports sourcing, diligence, and portfolio companies for strategically aligned investments. She began her career in management consulting and previously worked in early-stage digital health investing at Rock Health and Unseen Capital, a fund focused on underrepresented founders addressing health inequities. She has researched the lack of diversity and representation across the startup, venture, and digital health ecosystems.

Alex Ramos is an Associate at CVS Health Ventures, where he helps diligence, execute, and support investments in digital health and health care technology and works with portfolio companies and internal CVS Health business units. His areas of interest include payer–provider connectivity, revenue cycle management, and operational efficiency in health care. He graduated from Tufts University in 2021 with a BS in Economics and previously worked on CVS Health's External Growth & Development team within Enterprise Strategy.

Alyssa Reisner leads early and mid-stage investing for the CVS Health Ventures dedicated fund. She spent most of her career at CVS Health in Enterprise Strategy & Digital roles, connecting the company with the startup and technology ecosystem. Her transaction experience spans specialty care, nutrition, COVID-19 response, women's health, and behavioral health. She attended Babson College.

Andrea Messina is an Executive Director and Partner at CVS Health Ventures, where she leads a Market Development team working with portfolio companies, limited partner strategy, and CVS Health business units to drive enterprise value through investments and partnerships. She joined CVS Health in early 2021 to lead a team developing clinical solutions using CVS assets. Previously she was a Senior Director of Business Development and a Senior Manager in Business Planning at Mass General Brigham, focusing on commercialization, care delivery, AI/ML, digital health, value-based care, and M&A.

Camille Wiggins is a Senior Analyst on the growth equity deal team, where she supports sourcing, development, and management of growth equity investments and provides analysis across team initiatives. She holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and previously worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company in New York.

Danielle Bradnan is a Senior Associate on the Market Development team at CVS Health Ventures, where she leads the team's communications and insights programs. The insights program supports thesis development across segments, and the communications program handles the team's public presence. She has nearly a decade of experience in the digital health ecosystem, including market intelligence work with startups, pathogen prevention, and benchtop research.

Julia Keene is an Associate at CVS Health Ventures, focusing on the early stage investment strategy where she helps source, evaluate, and invest in opportunities aligned with the firm's strategic priorities. She began her career as a Strategy & Analytics Analyst at Deloitte Consulting after earning her undergraduate degree at Indiana University. Before joining the firm, she worked on the Global Strategy & Operations team at Carrot Fertility, where she launched global operations and supported partnership development.

She holds a BS from Cornell University and an MBA in health care management from The Wharton School, and previously worked at Accenture, 7wireVentures, and BBH Capital Partners.

Kyle Yamaguchi is an Associate at CVS Health Ventures, where he works on portfolio management, thematic investment due-diligence, advisory board engagement and deal work. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and completed CVS Health's General Management Development Program, a fellowship of three rotations including roles in Network Performance and Provider Experience and Retail Pharmacy before joining the Ventures team full-time.

Lily Wu is a Senior Associate at CVS Health Ventures, where she manages external venture capital and limited partner relationships and supports diligence for fund and growth equity investment opportunities. He holds a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Richmond.

Sophia Michaels is an Associate at CVS Health Ventures, where she works on sourcing, evaluating, and executing venture investments and helps develop market insights for the deal team. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in health and societies and a dual minor from the Wharton School in neuroscience and health services management. Before joining the firm, she was a strategy associate in the Commercial & Specialty Markets organization at CVS Health, and she focuses on neurotherapeutics, care delivery, and digital health.

Vinay Raj works at CVS Health Ventures on investments, capital deployment strategy, and fund operations. He previously served as a Principal at X, Google's moonshot factory, where he handled diligence, capital allocation, and strategic finance partnerships, and earlier worked in strategy and M&A at Gap Inc, private equity at Riverside, and investment banking at Evercore. He holds an M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Economics from Penn's Wharton School.
