Alfonso García Mora is IFC's Vice President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, where he oversees the institution's engagements across both regions and works to build a pipeline for private sector investments. He previously served as IFC's Regional Vice President for Asia and the Pacific and held director roles at the World Bank, including Global Director of Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation, and earlier was a Partner and Managing Director at Analistas Financieros Internacionales (AFI). A Spanish national, he holds a PhD in Financial Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Elena Bourganskaia is IFC's Vice President of Strategy and Operations Support, overseeing corporate strategy, operations, environmental and social policy, and other corporate functions. She previously served as Chief of Staff to the IFC CEO/Managing Director and as Global Head of Municipal & Environmental Infrastructure, and joined IFC in 1998 as a Health Specialist. A Russian and American national, she holds a Master's in Public Administration from New York University and a Medical Doctor degree from Semashko Moscow Medical School.

Ethiopis Tafara is IFC's regional Vice President for Africa, overseeing investment and advisory operations across the region. He previously held senior roles at the World Bank Group's Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency and served as IFC's Vice President and General Counsel, and earlier directed the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and an AB from Princeton University.

Federico Galizia is IFC's Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, leading the organization's enterprise risk management framework and overseeing investment and credit risk, corporate risk policies, and special operations for distressed assets. An Italian national with over 25 years of experience, he previously served as Chief Risk Officer of the Inter-American Development Bank, Head of Risk and Portfolio Management at the European Investment Fund, Deputy Division Chief at the IMF, adviser to the European Investment Bank president, and began his career at McKinsey. He holds a Laurea and Master's in Economics from the University of Turin and a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University.

John Gandolfo is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at IFC, where he oversees financial strategy and reporting, debt and equity capital mobilization, blended finance, and investor relations. Over more than 30 years at the World Bank Group, he previously served as IFC's VP and Treasurer, as Director and Chief Investment Officer of the World Bank's Pension and Endowments Department, and in several treasury and investment management roles. He holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from George Washington University.

Mohamed Gouled is IFC's Vice President for Products and Clients, overseeing client relationship management, private equity and venture capital operations, trade and supply chain finance, structured products, and new product development. A Djibouti national, he previously served as IFC Vice President for the Industries group and earlier as Vice President for Risk and Finance. He joined IFC in 1999 as an investment specialist in the financial markets unit for Sub-Saharan Africa and held various leadership roles, and before IFC worked at the African Development Bank in Abidjan.

Ramit Nagpal is a legal executive with more than thirty-five years of experience, serving as the principal advisor to IFC's leadership and Board on legal, business risk, and compliance matters. He previously held Deputy General Counsel roles at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Asian Development Bank, and worked in the private sector at American Express and as a partner at a large Indian law firm. He holds a Master of Laws in International Finance from Harvard Law School and bachelor's degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Delhi.

Sarvesh Suri is IFC's Regional Vice President for Asia and the Pacific, overseeing investment and advisory operations across the region. He previously served as IFC's Regional Industry Director for Infrastructure and Natural Resources in Johannesburg, and earlier as Director at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) covering climate, energy, extractives, and financial markets operations. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi University.

Dayle Hogg joined Abingworth in March 2023 to support the operational capabilities of portfolio companies. He was previously COO of GammaDelta Therapeutics until its 2022 acquisition by Takeda, cofounder of Adaptate Biotherapeutics, COO of Kesios Therapeutics, and an investment manager at Touchstone Innovations, and he cofounded Lectus Therapeutics. He holds a degree in Pharmacology from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Oxford.

Mary-Jean Moyo is Chief of Staff to IFC's Managing Director Makhtar Diop. She previously served as Regional Industry Director for Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services in the Middle East and Africa, and earlier as Regional Head of Industry for the same sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. Before IFC, she worked with commercial banks in Zimbabwe, the central bank in Botswana, and pan-African private equity funds as Vice President for Financial Institutions; she holds a Master's in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales and a Bachelor's in Economic History from the University of Zimbabwe.

Healthcare expert with over 30 years of experience in health service delivery, health financing, and health policy formulation. He is Executive Chairman of Africa Health Business, President of Africa Healthcare Federation, and serves as director for multiple healthcare organizations, bringing deep sector expertise to AAIC's healthcare focus.

Levan Shalamberidze is the East Asia Equity Lead for Financial Institutions at IFC – International Finance Corporation. His work covers the development, structuring, and management of investments, with a focus on financial institutions, FinTech, private equity, and venture capital. He has also served as an early-stage investor and as a board member and advisor.

Min Joo Kim joined Abingworth's Menlo Park office in December 2025, working with the transatlantic team to source new investment opportunities and support existing portfolio companies. She earned a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from UCSF, an MS in Prevention Medicine from Stanford University, and a BA in Molecular Biology from Pomona College, with research centered on neuroimmunology and lipid biology in Alzheimer's disease. Before Abingworth, she held venture fellowships at Novo Holdings and Insight Partners and served as a business development consultant for Mirum Pharmaceuticals.
