Has 30 years of private equity experience beginning at 3i Group, followed by Causeway Capital and ABN Amro. Was Executive Director at impact investor Bridges Ventures, later a Partner and COO at Next Wave Partners, and since 2020 has advised FSD Africa Investments.

Kanini Mutooni is a Senior Managing Director at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, based in its Nairobi office, where she sources new investments and works as an operating partner and board member with organizations primarily in Europe, Africa, and India. She was previously Managing Director for Toniic and Director for Investment at the USAID-funded East Africa Trade and Investment Hub. A UK Chartered Accountant, she has held leadership roles at investment banks including Bank of America-Merrill Lynch and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, and was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.

Kim Koontz is part of the portfolio support team at DRK, working on board, organizational, and leadership development. She co-leads the firm's Board Sourcing Initiative and Executive Coaching Match Program and manages customized projects for portfolio organizations. Before joining DRK in 2016, she worked at Housing Partnership Network as Administrative Coordinator and at Bank of America Investment Advisors as an Investment Company Administrator. She holds a BA in English from Syracuse University and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University.

Sebastian McKinlay is an investor and operator with three decades of experience in private equity, venture capital and private credit across Europe and Africa, working with family offices and institutional funds. He serves as an Investment Committee Member at FSD Africa and Chairman of Moringa School, where he oversaw a leadership transition to a commercial funding model and the scaling of its technology training to over 3,000 students per year. His board and investment committee roles include Longonot Place, Norfolk Towers, FSD Africa Investments and Gatsby Africa, and he has led investments and operating transformations at Uqalo, Big Square and Twiga Foods.

Tokunboh Ishmael is a Managing Partner at Alitheia Capital, where she leads the firm's strategic direction. She focuses on investments aimed at sustainable impact and has worked on sustainable finance in Africa.
