Investment thesis
Proparco finances and supports private-sector businesses and financial institutions in developing regions to strengthen their contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As the private-sector-focused arm of the AFD Group, it concentrates on three impact objectives and invests across sectors such as energy, climate, and financial services. Its interventions span 115 countries of intervention, with a focus on advancing economic transformation and impact financing in emerging markets.
