Investment thesis
Norrsken22 invests growth capital in disruptive, scalable, tech-enabled businesses across Africa, concentrating on the continent's main tech hubs of Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and Ghana. Managed by general partners deeply embedded in the African tech ecosystem, the fund emphasizes value creation beyond capital, treating each investment as a partnership. It is supported by a board of founders behind companies such as Flutterwave, Klarna, Skype and King, and an advisory council of African business leaders. The fund is a for-profit vehicle sharing the values of its founding partner, the Norrsken Foundation, which reinvests its 22% carry back into the African startup ecosystem.
