Investment thesis
Oui Capital was established in 2019 on the premise that Africa's technology ecosystem is positioned for an economic transformation comparable to what occurred in Southeast Asia, a thesis the firm sees as increasingly validated by growing venture financing activity. The firm believes building technology companies in Africa demands focus, which shapes its concentrated investment strategy. Rather than deploying capital broadly, it makes a deliberately limited number of investments, selected on the basis of strong conviction and the firm's ability to contribute meaningful value to each company it backs.
