Ramit Nagpal is a legal executive with more than thirty-five years of experience, serving as the principal advisor to IFC's leadership and Board on legal, business risk, and compliance matters. He previously held Deputy General Counsel roles at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Asian Development Bank, and worked in the private sector at American Express and as a partner at a large Indian law firm. He holds a Master of Laws in International Finance from Harvard Law School and bachelor's degrees in Law and Economics from the University of Delhi.
