Investment thesis
ID Ventures focuses on scaling promising early-stage Michigan-based, high-tech startups into thriving companies that support the state's economy, create local jobs, and strengthen Michigan's startup community. Beyond capital, the firm's team works with ecosystem partners across its network to help portfolio companies prepare for follow-on funding, scale their teams, and build out their boards and advisors. Entrepreneurs join a community of early-stage companies to share, learn, and grow together. Since 2009 the firm has invested in over 244 companies with 30 exits, deploying more than $42 million through multiple funds and leveraging over $3 billion in additional investment.
