Bobby Schostak is CEO and General Partner/Fund Manager of MadDog Venture Capital Fund I at MadDog Technology, a developer and funder of cloud-based solutions founded by former Compuware CEO Pete Karmanos. He has worked for more than 35 years in his family's business, Schostak Brothers & Company, a Michigan-based commercial real estate firm operating in 24 states, and the family also operates Team Schostak Family Restaurants, which owns over 151 restaurants including Olga's Kitchen, Applebee's, Wendy's, and MOD Pizza. After serving seven years as Chairman and Finance Chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, he founded the Templar Baker Group in 2015, and he was appointed to the Oakland University Board of Trustees in December 2015, where he serves as Chairman.
Pete Karmanos is Chairman of MadDog Technology, a venture capital firm, where he also serves as Fund Manager and General Partner of MadDog Ventures and as chairman of several portfolio companies, including Resolute Building Intelligence, Lenderful, Deliver My Ride, Freight Verify, Shapelog, and MadDog Professional Services. He co-founded Compuware Corporation in Detroit and formerly served as its CEO and Chairman, and he previously owned the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes, earning induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame (2015), the United States Hockey Hall of Fame (2013), and the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame (2010). He established the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit through donations totaling more than $60 million and holds an honorary doctorate from Wayne State University.
