Amy Zhao is a Principal at Clean Energy Ventures focused on early-stage climate technology investments. Her recent investment areas include climate risk and insurance, geothermal technologies, low-carbon cement solutions, and operational technology cybersecurity. She works on CEV's "Structuring for Scale" initiative to develop financing solutions for climate tech companies in the growth stage.

Lou Schick works at Clean Energy Ventures as a coach and mentor, helping develop investment theses, conduct diligence, and support portfolio companies. Trained as a physicist, he left a PhD program at Cornell to teach high school before spending years at GE, where he ran the GE SOFC program and worked on disruptive power-generation technology, and later led a product line at MTI Micro. He has been an early-stage, growth equity, and project finance investor for two decades, with a focus on adoptable innovations for climate decarbonization.

Matt Cohen joined Clean Energy Ventures as an Investment Principal in May 2023, bringing over a decade of climate tech investing experience and serving on the boards of portfolio companies Exterra Technologies, Queens Carbon, and Transaera. He previously was Director of Technology at Pangaea Ventures and an early employee at nanotechnology startup PChem Associates, and holds an MPhil from Cambridge and a BSE in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Joined Clean Energy Ventures as an Investment Manager, leading greenhouse gas impact assessments and helping build the firm's Simple Emissions Reduction Calculator (SERC) tool. Previously worked at KPMG India in corporate finance and founded two startups, Webcel Solutions and SES Environmental, before earning an MBA from Babson College.

Wynston Reed focuses on product financialization and federal energy policy to support climate tech startups. He previously was a management consultant at Grant Thornton working on Department of Energy Loan Programs Office engagements, a summer associate investor at Energy Impact Partners, and business strategy lead at Arkea Bio. He holds a Master's of Finance from MIT Sloan and dual degrees from the University of Maryland.

Cooper Bates is an Investment Analyst at Clean Energy Ventures, focusing on climate technology. He works on investments in products addressing decarbonization through profitable business models.

Ted Dillon serves as COO of Clean Energy Ventures, overseeing the firm's operational infrastructure including investment process, technology, HR, investor relations, ESG, platform and marketing, and has led the firm's scaling and international expansion. He joined in late 2019 and previously advised organizations such as MIT, First Wind, innogy/E.ON, Apex Clean Energy and DNV GL.
