She previously served as CEO of Fenix International, an energy company that delivered clean power solutions to over 15 million people across 9 African countries before its 2018 acquisition by ENGIE. Handler brings over 22 years of experience working across 20 African countries and currently serves as an Operating Partner with Equator, a $60 million climate tech fund, and sits on the boards of BioLite, SunFi, and Lori Systems.

Nick Goddard is UK Venture Partner at Factor[e] Ventures. He holds chartered qualifications in science and engineering and spent ten years in oil & gas, power generation, aerospace and defence before transitioning to technology investment banking in the City for eight years. From 2005 to 2013, he worked as an independent consultant on technology financing and commercialisation, including interim management roles, and subsequently co-founded Spinetic Energy Limited in 2013 to develop a novel wind energy concept, raising four funding rounds before departing in 2019 to join Factor[e] Ventures.

Fund development professional with 20+ years of experience, most recently VP of Philanthropy at Village Enterprise leading individual giving and HNW donor cultivation for work across Sub-Saharan Africa.
