He holds chartered qualifications in science and engineering and spent ten years in oil & gas, power generation, aerospace and defence before transitioning to technology investment banking in the City for eight years. From 2005 to 2013, he worked as an independent consultant on technology financing and commercialisation, including interim management roles, and subsequently co-founded Spinetic Energy Limited in 2013 to develop a novel wind energy concept, raising four funding rounds before departing in 2019 to join Factor[e] Ventures.
