Investment thesis
Cambridge Angels is an invitation-only UK business angel network connecting entrepreneurs with capital and expertise from members who are largely exited entrepreneurs, often in technology and healthcare. Investing since 2001, the group has supported over 150 companies and operates a clearly defined, streamlined investment process. Membership is capped at 65 and includes several corporate venture capital members. The network levies no pitching or carry fees on companies, funding itself through membership fees and sponsorship. Rooted in the Cambridge ecosystem, the UK's 'Silicon Fen,' the group runs events and free office hours for founders, and actively works to increase diversity among its membership.
