Twin Path Ventures backs highly ambitious, technically strong founders building AI-first products, providing first cheques at the earliest and most daring stages. The firm has invested in AI since 2014 and applies proprietary technical due diligence, believing the initial challenge for startups is engineering. Its fund structure is designed to generate returns two ways: from ambitious founders building large businesses that raise multiple rounds and eventually IPO, and from highly technical founders who prove their technology commercially and exit early within a 3-5 year window. The firm invests across Frontier AI research, AI infrastructure ('Picks & Shovels' such as data platforms and ML Ops), and Applied AI solving real-world problems.
