Investment thesis
SALT positions itself as the original Bitcoin-backed lender, enabling holders of digital assets to access liquidity without selling their crypto. Loans are collateralized by cryptoassets rather than credit scores, with rates starting at 7.49%, terms of 1/3/5 years, and borrowing up to 70% LTV with no prepayment fees. The firm serves personal borrowers, businesses, and private clients, offering yield of up to 10% APY on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins. Its Stabilization feature, powered by the proprietary STAMP engine, converts crypto collateral to USDC during downturns to protect value. SALT emphasizes US regulation, cyber insurance, and a track record of zero customer asset losses since 2016.
