Investment thesis
DSV creates deep-tech science companies from scratch using a first-principles methodology and its proprietary 'Outcomes Graph' knowledge tool. Rather than only investing, the firm forms new ventures and founding teams in focused mission areas: curative therapeutics (Pharma), reversing global heating (Climate), scaling intelligence/compute (Computation), restorative cultivation (Agriculture) and developing venture scientists (Education). It partners with foundations, corporates and government agencies (e.g. SPRIND, Renaissance Philanthropy, Cancer Research UK, AbbVie) and trains entrepreneurial PhD researchers via the Venture Science Doctorate to move science into commercial impact addressing large societal and existential challenges.
