Platanus backs the best technical founders in Latin America. Startups selected for its three-month program receive USD $200,000 in exchange for 7% equity, along with intensive support to grow their business and prepare to raise capital. The program emphasizes focus, weekly growth, and access to a strong network of Spanish-speaking founders and software developers, culminating in a Demo Day where startups pitch to a select group of investors. Backed by founders of successful startups who mentor participants on financing, growth, hiring, and focus, Platanus has invested in more than 90 startups across various industries and stages in nearly four years.
